We were upgraded to an apartment. David made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable! Recommended!

Top marks for this B& B, one of the best breakfast we had, friendly and helpful owners, warm large room. highly recommended place to stay.

Also it is not in the city center- san martin street- we were glad to live there. Ushuaia is a small city, so a 10 minute walk was a pleasure. The room was clean, we had a private bathroom and a little kitchen where our host served us breakfast. It was the first time we lived in hostal, not in the hotel, but we were satisfied with everything. If you come to enjoy the city and come back only for sleep, its a nice place to stay

We stayed in the double ensuite. It was very clean and charming with a good bathroom. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the city center, but this can be a nice thing after a long day of activities. Eduardo, the proprietor, was extremely nice and accommodating.

Eduardo was so helpful and hospitable. The house is a lovely, short walk to the main city street and the house itself was well equipped and cosy. In a real neighbourhood rather than the commercial city boardwalk. An overall wonderful experience.

The owner was really confused, first he couldn't change the reservation, than he couldn't cancel, when we arrived, the rooms were occupied by other people who were not there, then he moved there chlothes out of the room and told us, we should tell them that they have to stay in another house ten blocks away... Value for money was poor.

EDUARDO AND HIS FAMILY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL TO OUR NEEDS. YOU CAN FEEL LIKE YOU ARE AT HOME WHEN YOU STAY AT AHNEN´S. ITS THE BEST OPTION TO STAY AT USHUAIA. WE CAME AS A COUPLE OF TOURISTS AND WE LEFT FEELING AS A PART OF THE FAMILY. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! EDUARDO Y SU FAMILIA FUERON MUY AMABLES, CALIDOS Y ATENTOS CON NOSOTROS TODO EL TIEMPO. SIEMPRE ESTUVIERON PENDIENTES DE NUESTRAS NECESIDADES Y NOS HICIERON SENTIR COMO EN CASA. FUE MUY LINDO TENER UN TRATO TAN HUMANO. GRACIAS!!!

We were really happy with our stay at Ahnen in Ushuaia and would definitely recommend it. Eduardo was a very kind and thoughtful host and we really had the feeling that he cared about our comfort. He also makes an excellent breakfast. The walking distance to Ushuaia city centre is about 15 minutes but we didn´t mind this at all. It was nice to stretch our legs and enjoy the fresh air. If we are every back in Ushuaia then we would stay here again.

We stayed with David and his Dad for 4 lovely days and REALLY enjoyed our stay. We were made feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable with lots of storage, excellent tv and wifi services and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our travels! They were both so friendly and helpful, even going as far as to give us a lift into town! We would highly recommend this hostel!!

We'd booked a double room but when we arrived we discovered Eduardo had upgraded us to a 2 floor apartment with its own kitchen, washing machine, TV and a bathroom bigger than some of the hostel rooms we've stayed in. We loved it here, it was extremely relaxing and we didn't want to leave, Eduardo is a very considerate and charming host and provides you with everything you need (they even provide washing powder for the machine). Highly recommended if you're looking to kick back for a bit.

Sleeping here is giving money to someone who does not do his job. On the first day, after a plane which had departed at 4 a.m., we arrived at 9 a.m. at this hostel and were forced to go out. The man refused to let us in before 12, and even refused to let us wait in the breakfast room (no common room except this one). This whole stay was a joke : no breakfast because of an "accident", no towels because of a "laundry problem", the man was never in the hostel before late in the evening. Real Bad.

Really nice bed & breakfast. The owner helped us with everything. The room and the bathroom are very clean. The only small downside is the location. It is approx. 10 minutes from the center by foot but other than that I can recommend this place.

Charming owner Eduardo, great family, clean house, good breakfast, fast loundery etc. We felt like a part of their lovely family. Eduardo organized all the trips for us and he was available for all the questions (and there were lots). Lan lost our luggage and Eduardo arranged that we got it back on the same day! The last day we were upgraded to his other house in the centre-amazing! All in all PERFECT and I would definitely recommend it! Best experience in Ushuaia was living in this house.

We booked a twin room with private toilet. Actually it is a guesthouse, so we shared the house with the host family (just we can't use the kitchen). The room is good, hot water in bathroom is very good too!! The host prepared big and yummy breakfast for us in different time everyday as we wished, even sometime we wished to have breakfast very early! Because the house is located in a resident area, so it takes around 10 mins to the main street. But it is acceptable within walking distance.

Great Place! Incredibly nice owner who really made an effort to make us feel comfortable and even helped us to organize trips! The rooms are very well maintained and very clean. Breakfast is very good and a lot better than anything else we had in Argentina. We will definitely come back!

Excellent place to stay. The owner, Eduardo, was very considered and friendly, and he offered us a room upgrade without any extra money.
