The front desk staff was quite helpful. He even gave us a bottle of prosecco at check-in! The rooms were nice, but the shared bathroom left something to be desired. However, the location is great (only about a 10 minute walk from the train station), which is especially nice in a city like Venice. It was great to be able to drop off our bags quickly and then get out to explore.

2 person private room, shared bathroom. Location for us was excellent, right near the train station. Far from other sites, but you get to see a lot of Venice en route. Bathroom was not very clean, the shower overflowed. Beds were relatively comfy. Another unsettling thing was that reception is only open 8-8. The first night we had trouble with the (unreliable) wifi and opening the gate with our keys, which could have been horrible. Overall affordable for a hostel on the island, not luxurious

The room was very dirty. There were huge dust balls under the beds and behind the wash basin and there was dust on all the surfaces. There was plaster damage to the walls including around one of the power sockets, meaning there was a big gap down the back of the socket. None of the power sockets looked like they had been fitted by a professional. The shower in the shared bathroom was clogged up with hair and so the water did not drain away properly whilst having a shower. Mould on the ceiling.

The hostel is in a good location, but outdated and not well kept up. It could use more thorough cleaning daily and a more suitable decor for the price. The maps they give you are also terrible.

You get what you pay for. This place was nothing great, but also nothing horrible. The room was a decent size and clean. Only 1 bathroom and shower for 4 rooms but was not much of an issue. Showers were not the greatest. If superior cleanliness is your thing then this is not the place, but if you are looking for a average place to lay your head then this fits the bill. Also super easy to find from the train station and easy stroll t the rest of the island!

There were a few minor things wrong with the room like a broken window and a dusty fan but overall it was clean, private and comfortable.

It was pretty difficult to find, but aside from that, the hostel was great! I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet and comfortable place with only ten min. walk from the station.

Overall a very good hostel for the price you pay. Room is clean although the decorations might be old. Heaters work and the toilet is clean and there is warm water. There is limited wifi use but you can always request for more wifi time if needed at the reception. Recommended!

The bed was very comfortable and clean, and we were also given towels and toiletries. The only problem was that the floor in the room and the bathroom was dirty and the fan was very dusty, so that a dust-bunny was hanging off of it and dangling over the bed. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful and waited up for us until 1:30 in the morning on our arrival day. It is 10 minutes from Santa Lucia train station, but is a little on the outskirts of the main areas.

The directions on the website, which were also sent in the confirmation email, are kind of misleading. I kept turning around and starting over, thinking I had missed a turn somehow because I had been expecting to find it within 200 meters, when in fact I needed to keep walking several hundred meters further.

Very great location between the train station and the center of Venezia! Good staff and cleanliness! It seems more an hotel than hostel, probably it was an house before!
