Great place with nice common areas where you can meet people.

The staff were helpful, breakfast was excellent and the other guests were very friendly. It's worth noting that it's an older crowd than other hostels I've stayed in - mostly late 20s and 30s (not a lot of college kids). I've heard from several people that it's one of the best hostels in Valdivia. The only unfortunate aspect is that you're technically not allowed to hang out in the hostel after check out, which can be very inconvenient for guests with overnight buses.

very nice hostel. room is spacious (compared to other hostels i've been to), the outdoor area is very nice, breakfast is delicious, staff is very helpful. they only have 1 bathroom each for males and females, but i didn't have a problem with crowding during my stay, :)))

Nice hostel with friendly staff. Could do with more shower rooms (only 1 shower for ladies), and more cooking facilities (no oven and small for the amount of people). Would also be great if they didn't charge you to stay after checkout (not great when it's raining!)

this feels more like a large home than a hostel. It's great atmosphere with pets and friendly staff.

Big comfy beds with duvets, under-bed lockers, colourful rooms and convivial communal areas. The staff were helpful and welcoming and I loved the patio kitchen with a cute but grumpy duck living in the garden for entertainment! Also the breakfast was excellent - yoghurt with oats in it and fruit on top (even strawberries and raspberries), brown bread and an unusually tasty jam selection (pear and ginger anyone? Yum!). Location 5mins from bus station, 5mins from market.
