we cant lock the door of our private room!!

Very nice even if I only stayed for one night. Loved the organization in bungalows :D !

Terrible bedbugs and shouted at by horrible staff when we complained! They gave no apologies, no refunds - dont go there!

Not to recommend! Only if you like Party, Alcohol until you re' be drunken and Bedbugs! Check-in= Staff was very unfriendly! Don't ask any questions, they do not help you! The worst Hostel in whole country!!! Never again!!!

THe staff was rude and there were bed bugs! 3 rooms that I know of were closed in 2 days!

Our stay was OK. We are not the kind of people who like to stay up until 2am drinking. Quite a lot of the other guests were. It was very noisy, and the bar/live music area is close to the dorms. It was so noisy that we genuinely had trouble sleeping. The ladies in reception were lovely, and recommended some great companies, but all of the tours started early in the morning, and that is not fun if you have not been able to sleep during the night.

Excellent location close to everything in Airlie Beach. The rooms have great air conditioning that is on a timer so you are not at the mercy of your roommates personal thermometer (and they are not at yours either). There is an adequate kitchen and actual Free wifi. Unfortunately the free wifi is outside under a gazebo which is difficult to use your computer in the rain. But overall a great place to stay.

We were stuck in Airlie Berach because of the floods but because we felt comfortable in the hostel with nice people around we did not mind at all. It was a reallly nice atmosphere and nice rooms. (There should just be a stove in the breakfast room)

A very nice place to stay and cheaper than some of the others too. Good value for money here and would stay again if i went back to Airlie. Really impressed with getting free Wi-Fi, this was really useful and our room was right next to the wireless area so we could get it in the room instead of going outside!

the hostel is great if you want to meet people and have internet for free, everybody can come in and go out without anyproblem because there is a pub inside but the bathroom where really dirty (ok guests' fault) but he was night when I went there and there was this woman at the reception (blond hair, glasses, middle age) she wasn't polite at all, no smile, no kindness...it wasnt a good welcome!

A good place to go if your looking to party all night every night. Very Noisy, a little gross in terms of the way the guests treat the place, used condoms and rubbish everywhere. Right in the middle of everything though which was good and it also had air conditioning and fridge in the room which was great.

friendly and helpful staff, bar directly next door, very idyllic living area, free wifi, located centrally, ac very noisy, fairly narrow room (2 bed room), limited sanitary facilities (only 2 toilets and showers for a floor)

The magnums backpackers is a nice place.... first.. but they have a bedbug problem. for a pretty long time now and all they do is spray the beds with something that should kill them. but unfortunately it does not!!!! it just makes them run away from the spray. and because they only spray the bottom of the bed... they aaall come up. so if you got bitten like me... just leave the hostel. don't tell them to spray. or you will look like me after that night. and believe me... you don't want to!

(Cheap) bar right next to rooms - easy partying but noise at night if trying to sleep. No common room, only the bar. Wi-fi area was too small.

Free WIFI, Ten Bed Dorms with only one bathroom is not enough.
