Location is great. Private room is cheap and clean, which is nice, but feels a little bit like a bunker. Staff is friendly. Big hostel, lots of small little houses in a jungle area. Doesnt really feel like a hostel, more like a vacation park.

I would have liked to have soap availible in every bathroom.

great dorm rooms with ensuites and a free WiFi area but the connection is a little weak. location is perfect and great value. kitchen is a good size but needs to be cleaned more often. staff are helpful enough. great place to meet people as a solo backpacker. would stay again.

I wanted to check in at 11am. I went to reception and had to wait there 45min until I could check in, because there were so many people and not enough staff. That sucks. If there is more staff at reception, it is a very good hostel. Nice big rooms with bathroom. The Wifi is very slow and only in a small area.

Not a bad hostel. Really cheap double room. The biggest downfall is the kitchen way too small and lack of utensils. It is all outside so the bathroom can have many insects and spiders. Got bitten a lot during the 30mins I sat at the wifi area!

Good place for having fun. There is a big bar and a night club near the reception. The room is nice and clean, the air con has a timer and turn on and off during the day and night, this can cause some hot periods inside of the room. There are lots of restaurants, shops, a bottle shop and a woolies near. It is cheap to wash and dry clothes, just 3 dollars for machine. No lockers.

Didn't enjoy our stay here. The rooms are are quite good, but what mainly affected us was the kitchen. I don't know how big the property is at Magnums, but it's huuuuuge. And there's only ONE really SMALL kitchen which is always dirty. So whenever we wanted to cook, we always had to wait for a long time. Only four cookers, COME ON. There is a "second kitchen" which they call the breakfast room, but it doesn't have any cooking gear and it's super small, so no one really bothered.

it's not a real hostel, it's more a bungalow park, which is fun! because it's different.

Great location, excellent value for money, and beautiful grounds around the back of the hostel - putting lockers in rooms would be a good improvement on the security side of things, but I wasn't worried about my posessions whilst staying there.

Lovely jungle vibe

This really is the best location at airlie beach. There is always something on at the bar, although it was a little quiet whilst we were there, it was peak family holiday time! The staff could not have done more to help us have the best experience and gave us discount on the room. The only thing I think it could do with is a welcome meet and greet at the bar to introduce people!

Really great atmosphere. Beautiful rainforest setting around the rooms.

It's a good option to people that like to stay in contact with nature, for whoose that hate bugs and instable hot and cold water during the shower, maybe can be a little disapointing.. But the other facilities are very good in general!

Double room is good with a fridge, air con, fan and a kettle. The hostel is made of lots of different buildings. Wifi is only available in one place and is very slow. Good value for the price. Staff are very slow at the desk.

Very nice atmosphere, but the kitchen is really really small! It's in the town center just next to a Woolwoths. Luggage storage is $5 for as long as you need it.

Perfect Location, friendly and helpful but often stressed stuff, free wifi. Free valuable storage, for overnight luggage storage 5$,access to the storage room only available at certain times, that's a bit nervracking. No special meal deals for house guests. No lockers in the rooms, but at least little shelfs. For the price the hostel is absolutely to recommend :-)

Total party hostel. Good if you are looking for that. I went because of the cheap prize. Eight bed dorm was okay but the beds were squeky. Last night two of other guests were totally drunk, banged the door and did some questionable things in the bathroom with some male guests. We got also food stolen from the fridge. Kitchen was also small for such a big hostel. Location was perfect and woolworths was right next to it. Wouldn't stay again though.

Double room and twin room only cost AUD$28/pp is very valuable! Nice location just next to Mcdonald's and close to Lagoon.
