I was really surprised after reading the website that you charged for internet and to keep my bags while I was out. Those things weren\'t clear that they had charges attached.

Wonderful staff, ironed sheets which made me feel quite elegant, very clean, friendly. Would have liked a little more ease with access to the internet, had trouble getting on. But manager very helpful and came out even though it was after office hours, to help me, successfully. Got a ride to airport by manager, close to airport, but can't hear the planes, reasonably priced; this is the place I repeatedly go to when I am having to stay overnight and get to the airport the next day. #1 on my list

Even though we had per-arranged a shuttle pick-up time and I had reserved a bed online, the staff forgot to pick me up from the airport terminal terminal. I waited for 45 minutes outside, late at night, and then gave up and ended up spending the night in the airport. Terrible. I had no access to a phone to get in to contact with the hostel

Good location for early morning flight especially since they have an option to bring you to the airport for 5 dollars. Great kitchen facilities. On a busy road that was loud throughout the night. Great for a quick stay before a flight. 50 minute bus ride to downtown Auckland.

Only stayed one night, perfect if you need something close to the airport and don't care about the area (a bit industrial). Thought I'd booked an ensuite unit but it was one room in a 2 bedroom unit, where we shared the bathroom and kitchen. Nothing flash or new, but clean and comfy. Good sized kitchen with pots, pans, dishes etc. Limited parking. The staff I saw seemed like working-holidayers, not locals, and were a bit disorganised, they couldn't find record of my booking at first.

The location is perfect for those who want to be really close to the airport. And the shuttle service comes handy as well. Other than that it's a nice hostel/backpackers with well equipped kitchen, common room and a nice pool. What we did not really enjoy was the fact that you can hear everything at night - people talking in rooms next to you etc. Paper walls :) But overall we had a pleasant one-night stay there before we left New Zealand.

The room and beds and lininen were very clean. As I came back to the states only to find I caught scabies, The hostels that were clean stand out in my mind. The staff was very helpful, and the atmosphere great.

The pick-up service is very efficient and the staff friendly. A bit too expensive location for a bed ina dorm but it is the best price you can have in the area if you need to be at the airport early in the morning when the airport shuttle from downtown would not rum.

Pretty clean, great owners, offers airport pickup from $5. Worth it for a short layover.

This is a very comfortable, quiet hostel with a LARGE COMMON AREA, good kitchen, clean rooms and plenty of bathrooms. Also had a pool and jaccuzzi, altho I didn\'t have time to use them. Easy walk to store, eating places.

Nice place to stay for catching the flight.

It was very basic backpacker accomodation, and more geared to a younger visitor than myself (66) We later found a better hotel/motel with free transport and coffee and tea in the room that was cheaper(no shared bathrooms there) so will have to say we had better value elsewhere. I would not discredit Skyways,as it was adequate, but I did not really do much research through lack of time....so only have myself to blamer for deciding to stay at Skyways, when there were other options, within my price ran

No problems being picked up by staff from the airport at 1am. Gentleman who picked me up was very friendly. Room was spotless and the bed very comfortable which was great after a 40 hour journey. Shower was clean powerful and hot which again was a blessing after such a long journey. All staff I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Clean kitchen with tea and coffe available a nice touch. As i had arrived so late after such a long journey I was given a late checkout without asking

A little expensive but the location was great. Very close to the airport and there are a few shops close by to get dinner and things. Place was clean if a little dated. Showers were great.
