A very clean and cozy lodge close to the airport. Perfect for spending the first night in Auckland after a late flight and before continuing downtown. We arrived late at night and the guy from the hostel picked us up and was really friendly. I really enjoyed my stay - the owners were lovely and very helpful, my room was clean and warm with a comfortable bed and it was in good proximity to the airport. Overall it was very good but there was no heating in the room - i froze all night (even wearing layers of clothes and with extra blankets on bed). Room 5 is by the share bathrooms and in the night it was noisy with heavy-footed guests in the hallways. Great host who runs it, great airport drop off service, great shower pressure, good shops nearby, kitchen/lounge facilities very good.
