It was a good value for money hostel. Perfect for backpackers. Relatively close to Fort William. Share bathroom, kitchen and living room.

Everything you need after climbing Ben Nevis. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms and beds are comfortable and clean. Showers and toilets are clean with ample hot water and plenty of them. The kitchen and eating area is large and everything supplied for what you need to cook. Perfect for us. Thanks

Great place to stay if you plan your trip around Western Higlands. About 20 min drive from Fort William. I'm not sure about public transport to the hostel as we was driving a car. Hostel is very clean and tidy, only problem is limited access to mobile networks and internet. Beside of that highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay, Nicola and Gavin were really helpful when checking in and out. Great location for access to Fort William and really good price.

We stayed here for one evening before attempting Ben Nevis. The staff were extremely welcoming and facilitating. We had one double room which was absolutely incredible quality for the price and 6 beds in a 6 bed dorm which was fit for purpose. The toilets, showers and kitchen were clean with abundant facilities. One slight annoyance was an extremely loud group of guests in the neighbouring room who kept us awake but this was purely poor luck and no reflection on the hostel.

The hostel is very remote but that's not a problem if you're by car. The path/street leading down from the road is in a bad condition, so drive slowly! The host mother is very nice! The dorms are alright, the bathrooms tend to get a bit dirty because not everybody cares to put on house shoes when they go there. This hostel has a built-in sauna which you can use until 22:00 (One pound for fifteen minutes) and which is very nice. All in all, I'd come again.

One of the reasons for booking this place was that it was a place in the middle of nowhere with wifi. Unfortunately the wifi was non-existent from most places in the hostel. The one place with some wifi reception was the drawing room and even then it was incredibly slow. The place itself is great with all you will need for a comfortable stay.
