Myself and three friends stayed here for a weekend. We found the Owners very helpful and polite. The Hostel was very clean and everything worked fine. After a hard day on the mountains, it was a joy to soak in a hot shower. The facilities were perfect, with a fully functioning kitchen/dining area. There was also a Drying Room and Sauna on site. again wonderful additions

Silent location, beautiful scenery close by. Away from everything, this is both advantage and disadvantage. Make sure bring some raw material for cooking. They got good kitchen facility, but there is no near resteraunt or shops

Definitely a getaway in a quiet valley (well, near the railway tracks). We stayed here and climbed Ben Nevis the next day, and it was certainly a restful night. Kitchen was well equipped, although a sign indicating how to turn the power on to the oven would have been helpful (we couldn't figure it out until the next night!). You do need a car to get back and forth to Fort William easily. Overall, was clean and warm. Good water pressure and temperature. WiFi was good in our private room.

The time i spent in AC is the most beautiful and impressive though all my travelling. Without Kelvin and Coloe's help, I could be died benfore hiking. They are extremely kind and nice. The hostel is perfect for hiking and stay. Highly recommended.

Some soundproofing would improve the stay.

Unfortunately we had a couple of families staying who were quite noisy.

Thought walls were far too thin could hear everything in building difficult to get any sleep.

The walls are not very thin.Ear plugs are a good idea to have to hand in hotels and hostels.Unfortunately some people are not very considerate and do make a lot of noise.

We had a pleasant stay. Nichola was very accomodating and friendly. Good location for a short stop over before heading up to the highlands.

Kitchen area was nice and the woman who ran the place was friendly and helpful. No wifi. The mattresses were pretty uncomfortable on our two beds. The combined shower/toilets didn't work so well with the wet floors getting dirty from outside shoes. Also, the sauna is on a pay meter and didn't look particularly airtight for keeping in the heat.

We are planning to boost the WIFI but there will be a small charge. Beds It is a fact that what for one person is a comfortable bed, for another the same bed will not be. Squeegees are supplied in all the showers and if everyone spent 30 seconds using one after a shower the floor would stay clean and dry. They are also cleaned daily. The sauna has a tight seal on the door and works very efficiently. Pleased that the kitchen was appreciated.

It's a decent place to stay with low budget but the wifi signal is poor and it can get really cold at night.
