I really enjoyed staying there - single room is just enough to fit a futon, luggage and small tv, but that's all you really need as most of the time is spent out in the city anyways. staff was helpful, there was all the facilities one might need and even more. and view from the roof at night is awesome...

One of our better choices made in tokyo - aizuya inn is simple. everything works and all the facilities are there. there's really nothing to complain about. staff are friendly and understanding and speak a multitude of languages.

This is quite simply the best hostel one can imagine. It is an ideal that other hostel managers should follow. It's got a relatively good location (maybe not the best part of town, but everything can be easily reached by train/bike). The hostel itself is fantastic: spotless cosy rooms, super clean toilets/showers/kitchen, wonderful common area with wifi, computers, tv, dvd and books. Both the manager and the staff are very kind, helpful and fun people. It is a truly fantastic place.

this place was nice, the only thing letting it down was the location, which also affected the fun score i gave for the place as well. overall though it was a nice place and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

Good value for the price with a very friendly and helpfull staff. The location is close to a metro station but not much else. We had a very pleasant stay with a small okonomiyaki(?) party, and the ladies from the breakfast place around the corner are lovely.

Staffs are friendly with excellent customer service, room and bathrooms are very clean. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this charming hostel in Tokyo. I was traveling alone for the first time and really enjoyed my three nights here in one of the private rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and answered all of my many questions! The location of this hostel is the only downside, as it's a 20-minute walk to the nearest train station, but for the price I don't think you can do much better in Tokyo. I would definitely stay here again. ^^

A lot of amenities offered in the room, however, only 2 sockets availabe - so no opportunities to use much electrical devices and/or reading lamp. Although the sheet was clean, you could see that it has been used several times before (white stains....) - replacements once in a while can also be good.
