The B&B was mostly good and the staff were nice. However, we were asked to leave midway through our stay for reasons unknown. The B&B staff tried to find us a new hostel to stay at, which worked on the second try.

Shared bathroom means that everyone is sharing the same bathroom. But I did not have any problems getting into the bathroom when I needed to use it.

Superb location right at the intersection of two major streets in Palermo, making it really accessible to local attractions, yet generally quiet for sleeping. Within walking distance from the Central Station and the newer part of town. Breakfast was often scarce, but the owner always offered vouchers that could be used to grab breakfast at a nearby cafe. The bed was a little springy, but it's not exactly a luxury resort. We were even offered a free upgrade to a room with a private bathroom.

The Al 316 Bed and Breakfast was an excellent choice! The owner was very kind to us, was always helping us with directions, fun places to visit, and even recommended great restaurants for our college student budget! It was the perfect weekend stay!
