While the place was located a little further away that we would have liked initially, we ended up loving the place. Alessandro was the perfect host. He made sure we had ALL the information we needed and was even thoughtful enough to leave us a bus ticket and there were chocolates on our pillow every day! it's 'small' things like these that made our stay at this B&B so delightful. His house was beautiful and very cosy. The house was also very clean. We highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Al Piccolo. Allesandro was very attenive and helpful and made us feel very welcome - nothing was too much. The accommodation itself is extremely comfortable, clean and very tastfully decorated and furnished. The communal kitchen is useful. It would have been nicer to have stayed closer to Venice as it is approximately 30 - 40 mins by bus (which stops outside and are fairly frequent) but we would certainly recommend it and would consider staying again in the future.

My husband and I stayed three nights and other than the time lost in travelling we would recommend this place. We found that it was too far from Venice although the bus stops were literally just right outside the b&b's door. The travel on crowded buses after the end of a long day wasn't as appealing as if we could have just walked to our hotel in Venice. The place was impeccable, Alessandre was helpful and friendly. He suggested a local Mestre restaurant that we enjoyed very much.
