This was our 3rd visit to the camp and were delighted to find that although there had been some changes it had not lost any of it\'s wonderful character. It is an amazing place, expect hostel type accomodation after all that is what it is, but soak up the atmosphere the location and the genuine effort of the owner Ahmed to do as much as he can for you no matter what. He is most anxious for you to have a good experience which in our view is exactly what staying at El Salam Camp is.

Al Salam Camp is a unique spot in Luxor. The staff are excellent, funny and hospitable. The atmosphere is like a beach camp but along the Nile. The location is out of the hussle and hassle of the city while still close enough for daily visits. Within a short walk you can reach taxis for sightseeing and even a local Ali Baba coffee shop serving cappaccino! Would highly recommend for anyone to stay at this camp! Thank you Ahmed!
