Hostel was very clean and staff was very friendly, they even gave me a free ride to airport since they were going there anyway. Thank you for that:) Overall I liked the place a lot and hope to be coming back in summer since it was very cold outside in these time.

Very nice and comfortable hostel. Easy to get to the center with bus or taxi. Not too crowded at these time of the year.

I loved it. They have 2 computers with internet free of charge plus WiFi all over the place, I also liked the special price (for hostel guests only) breakfast in the bar just across the street. Stuff was very helpful too.

The kitchen and bathrooms were absolutely revolting, the place smelled and it wasn't cleaned once.

It was a really nice place to stay, but is a bit of a trek from the center of town where all the sites are.

it was not sure whether the linen has been changed before we occupied the beds in the dorm. It was said that it was changed but not ironed to keep prices low... The hostel had a kitchen which was shared with some students living on a permanent basis in the hostel. It seemed as if the kitchen was only ironed, also, to keep prices low.

We booked an ensuite room, they gave us a "special" ensuite room which meant the bathroom was shared between two rooms and that was quite annoying. Unfortunately every move people made, even if it was at the other side of the hostel, could be heard clearly. This meant nights with bad sleep because of toilets, showers and footsteps along the corridor or in other rooms. We only saw the staff checking in and checking out! They didn't provide any information or map. It's a 30 min walk to the centre.

It's an average hostel with basic accomodation. Some toilets couldn't be closed and the wooden beds make a lot of noise. It's a good hostel to stay at for only one night.

Negatives: 45 minute walk from town. Shower had so much mould that my wife actually purchased disinfectant to clean before we used it. Bed felt so unstable we were afraid to roll over in the night. Would NOT stay here again. Positives: One of the few places in Ljubljana where you only shared bathroom with one other couple (if private room). Felt secure. Bed was clean. Supermarket just around corner. Not expensive.

Everything ok apart from community areas (lounge, kitchen, etc.) which are very small and narrow, difficult to get through with luggage. Good place to stay if you travel by car and need a car park. Supermarket opposite hostel - very convenient. Thanks.

The hostel is a bit remoted, but other than that, everything was great !! Thank you for the stay !

I wish all hostels were like this. The location is a bit of a chore but everything else is perfect and has a good backpacker spirit. The 24/7 lounge and the clean and spacious rooms are exactly what you need after a day cycling around Ljubljana. The staff presence wasn't the best, you often need to ring the bell and wait but they were very helpful when around.

Really pleasant hostel, but the pool table should be free! The staff were really helpful and understanding, even when we had a fit of giggles due to over-tiredness. Not too far from the centre either.

Arriving at the hostel at night is like walking on as an extra to a Star Trek film given the amount of blue neon lighting, but it all adds to the character and makes you aware you're moving into Eastern Europe. Like Ljubljana as a whole, the people are friendly, the room was comfortable and the range of facilities is some of the best I have encountered across Europe hostelling, even if the hostel was a little quiet when we stayed there.

The hostel was really ok, a bit far from the center (cca. 25 min. walk from the center), and a bit hot during the high season.

The hostel is located at just over 20 min walk from the city center (Slovenska cesta), not 20 min as the owner stubbornly insists. It's very close to a few supermarkets and a movie theater. The location is otherwise dull. Still, Ljubljana hostels being expensive you might not want to rule out this place entirely. 'Hostel is CLIMATIZED' -> there was a fan in our room. No soap and no power outlet in the bathroom. Only two power outlets in the bedroom (one for the fan, one hidden).
