Front desk staff was nice but not very hospitable. Asking about the area and stuff around the hostel and was given one word answers. The mattresses are very loud getting in and out of bed. Bedding comes off way to easy.

There is not that many hostel up there but I truely enjoyed my stay at the backpakers inn. You're pretty much in the middle of everything, easy to reach from the airport and I would definitely recommend it !

Good location, a few minutes from downtown. The interior looks outdated, beds are quite noisy and rooms are small. Staff didn't even bother to show me around the hostel or give me details about local attractions. Overall it's a cheap option to spend the night.

This hostel was in a close enough location to the Downtown area of Anchorage to walk to the main street and it's about a $20 taxi from the airport. Its a pretty average hostel all in all. Not that clean, security cards rarely work which is frustrating and staff aren't always that friendly or helpful.

Nice hostel, but I found really annoying that the keys stopped working after each activation. So basically u had to go and have the card activated all the time. Other than that the staff is nice n helpful.
