The staff is a bit stiff, but very professional and give any help asked for. Beautifully laid out breakfast. Room advertised as 3-bed was too small for 3; it was clearly 2 plus extra bed and there simply wasn't air enough!The staff is a bit stiff, but very professional and give any help asked for. the only drawback is location, flybus does not offer drop off to the guesthouse and if you carrie a luggage like us, there is no way u can walk. Taxi cost ISK1050 which is fine for us. Very quiet location and lovely atmosphere. Alba is a great place to stay for quiet nights. It's about a 15 minute walk to the city center, but the guesthouse is lovely, the staff wonderful, and the breakfast perfect. I highly recomend staying there for anyone unconcerned about being on top of the action downtown. Alba is a great place to stay for quiet nights.
