I spent 8 night in Ushuaia at casa de Alba, and it was really good. Alba is the host, very good staff. she is very Nice and help you anything you need. The rooms are very good and very clean. The breakfast is very good. Is not too far from center, in 15 minutes walking. The prices are very good, and I got a room with private bathroom. Anyway I really liked and enjoyed.

WATCH OUT! there is no kitchen in this accommodation. It is basically a low price hotel. But the location is very good. It is next to the tourist area at the same time it is in the locals area. Good prices for food.

Though not overly friendly, Alba was very helpful when we arrived, especially given our lack of Spanish. She provided a map of the town, told us how to get to the centre and where things were, and arranged a tour for us. Room we stayed in was lovely, with towels and toiletries incl. Although no kitchen, there was a fridge where we could store food. Breakfast was delicious and shower's were hot, and although a little further out of town, it's only about a 15min walk. Overall, a very pleasant stay
