Great!. The Rooms, bathroom, kitchen and common room was totally fine and couldnt be cleaner. It is olny 7-8 rooms(each room has 6 to 10 beds) hostel which is perfect for whom wants to stay at quite and cozy area. The staffs (day & night) were all kind and very much helpful. I would definitely stay here again when i visit Barcelona next time.

We loved this hostel!! The owners gave great recommendations for meals that were authentic and cheap. We loved meeting all the people who stayed there. The hostel was clean and very modern and cute. Breakfast was served and was nice as well. We felt very safe and would definitely stay here again.

Very modern and fun in addition to everything a hostel should be- welcoming and hospitable. Even the beds were very comfortable! Very impressed.

Can't recommend this hostel enough. People were so fun, it was clean, lockers were large and you got a key for it when you got there. Staff was so helpful in making recommendations of what to do. you are literally a 5 or 10 minute walk from the port and its really easy to get around here. Stay at this hostel, it rocks!

AYH was clean and accommodating, especially for the price. The location was decent, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, going so far as to recommend local restaurants to my group. The only real complaint I can make is that while I stayed there, some of the hostel guests had a drinking party in the lobby. The shouting was loud even from upstairs, and instead of doing crowd control, the desk worker was right there drinking with the rest. Great place for a party, not as much for sleep

Overall it is a good place to stay, with convenient location highly accessible to the city centre and hostile service by the staff. There is one thing I want to make is that I purchased tickets to CampNou and the tickets had been delivered to the hostel before I checked in, but the staff did not tell me anything about the staff. One of them even told me there was no ticket delivery in Spain. After two days the staff finally told me they had received the tickets. I was a bit disappointed.

It's a great hostel with very friendly staff and clean rooms and bathrooms. The location isn't right in the center of the city, but it is definitely in walking distance and in a pretty safe part of town, I never felt uncomfortable walking back late at night. I would definitely recommend it!

Great hostel! Staff were friendly and arranged group activities etc. Breakfast could have had a little more variety though. Overall one of the best hostelsI've stayed in.

I had a really great time, Guiti, Soorosh, Sara and all the staff were amazing, and I would definitely come back here again. With internet, guitar, great people, breakfast and dinner included, and staff to take you out for a drink, what more could a traveller ask for!!! Gracias Albareda!

Great hostel. Staff were friendly and very willing to make sure nobody felt lonely in the hostel. Bathrooms were clean and so were the bedrooms. Good location close to a metro line and in walking distance to the harbour and La Rambla/Barri Gotic. Lockers were a good size. Only down point was that it is quite a loud hostel all night especially when your room mates are up partying all night. Just part of the atmosphere though. Great breakfast too. Cornflakes/Coco pops combo is a winner!

An almost perfect hostel, one of the best I've ever stayed, avoiding most of the weak points of hostels. Very friendly and nice staff and hostel owner, especially Nascy! The breakfast is nice. The price is quite fair. The location is also good, within walking distance from the hill where you can see the panaroma of Barcelona, and the port where Colomb statue is standing. I had the best time at the Albareda Hostel in Barcelona. I didn't want to leave when it came to check out time. I felt like home for christmas time, Sara and Guiti are wonderful and helpful , Sangria night was great fun. Location is perfect in Raval area next to the Ramblas. All of the guests seemed to be happy there too and there was a great atmosphere about the place. !Loved it

Definitely the best in Barcelona, very clean, secure, lovely and friendly staff. It has a great environment where you get to meet people from all over the world. I hope to be back there sometime soon.
