Woooow!! I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel, really clean, staff very nice and friendly; always ready to help and give good tips. Beds and security were fantastic.

All of the staff were really friendly and could answer any questions I had about what to see and how to get around in Barcelona. There was also a good mix of guests while we were there, and for my first-ever stay at a hostel, I really enjoyed my time at AYH!

We visited this hostel for a few days in Barcelona during a \"puente,\" where we didn\'t have any class. This is hands down the best hostel I have ever been to. Character: The hostel is well decorated. It is modern, has a kitchen that is available to its guests, and a TV room. Hostel guests are friendly and spend time with each other it\'s mostly young people, but there were one or two people over 30 at the hostel. Good hostel, although a few things could be improved. Leaving our locker keys at reception is just not something we found comfortable. Also, the lockers are opened with a key, but the back wall is a thin wood piece... realistically, all locker sides should be metal. Bathrooms were great, very clean and spacious! Linens had a lot of other people's hair though, makes one wonder if they actually wash them...
