Alberdi Hostel Reviews

We arrived and were greeted by ¨What do you want?¨and a locked gated - apparently, they never got our reservation, and the man who admitted us into the hostel was borderline hostile, and very suspicious. The girl at reception warmed up, but was oddly aloof as well. Way outside of town, and horrible ¨help¨with how to take a bus, no info or map or suggestions. Seemed slightly angry that we were there. Older members of the family were really nice, and the room/bathroom were clean but old/dusty,etc

A stay at Alberdis is more a stay at the house of a friend than a stay at a hostel. On the downside there's just one bathroom for everybody (but at least it's "clean" - we were the only ones to stay there so i suppose if there are more people it's another story..) on the upside Becker (the owner) is very helpfull - he's very quiet but if you ask he'll alwas help you and give's tips that are really good. The rooms don't have neither Aircondition nore windows

i reserved a 8 bed dorm but it was a 11 bed dorm, too much people on one room too hot everyone talked very loud although it was late at night. It was close to the river but very fare from the citycentre (the centre is very nice). No map of the citycentre. Nothing to do at night.
