Ernesto was very friendly and our one night in the hostal was pleasant. It was a little challenging to find from the train station, but once we got oriented, it was a an easy walk (25 minutes) to the Port and old part of the city. He had good restaurant recommendations and drew us a map of where to walk in the city. Good deal too. I would recommend it! Happy Travels!

A bit hard to find, and no kitchen (but that's alright as it's not a hostel). Very pleasant stay, very friendly staff, enjoyed it very much! Quite, has a small garden, close to train station as well.

The staff did not speak much English, however they were quite friendly nonetheless. The guests were a bit older than the typical hostel clientele, but we didn't mind. No complaints :)

Really lovely building just a short walk away from the attractions in Genoa. Friendly staff, good service, would definitely stay there again!

Nice enough place, but it was hard to find. Google Maps thinks the hostel is two blocks down the street, across the train tracks and around a corner from where it actually is.

My mum and I stayed at Albergo Argentina for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean and generally lovely. The hosts were very friendly and really did make us feel very welcome, the were very obliging and helpful, we felt that nothing was too much trouble. The lady recommended a great restaurant to us. I would recommend this place to anyone.
