The cleanest hostel and the most receptive hostel I`ve had stayed. And the location couldn`t be better. Close to the train station, to the main avenue, to the acquarium.

I loved the location of Albergo Argentina as it was not in busy old town, but a short walking distance outside and at the same time close to the train station. I was there for 2 nights, but with busy agenda, so I actually didn`t spend so much time in hostel itself, but my overall feeling was that this is rather great character boarding-house than typical hostel. In my next visit to GenovaI I would stay in Argentina again.

Very cozy hostel a few minutes away from Palazo Ducale. Owners are extremely nice and I would definitely come back, but if you are looking for a "fun" kind of hostel, this isnt it, cause its very quiet.

The staff was very friendly- provided us with maps and locations of great places to eat through the Italian/English language barrier. They were always inviting and happy to accommodate us. We were hoping to be provided with breakfast, but that wasn't the case. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean. Would definitely recommend.

Hostel and staff was great and very accommodating. They do not speak much english so be sure to brush up on your Italian before you go.

Overall, it's a good place to stay when visiting Genoa. The staff is so nice and the rooms are fine for sleeping, but not a whole lot else. The whole place smelled a bit smokey, but despite that, I felt everything was pretty clean. Great location, as it is only a 5 minute walk from the train station and about 10 minutes from the city center.

Stay here. Especially if you need to be close to the Brignole station and still have easy access to the city centre. The staff were so sweet and kind, even though we had to work through the language barrier. They give you a ton of information on Genoa and let you store luggage as long as you wish. We loved it!
