Great location, easy walking distance from station and every important tourist site. A neat little room with a view (if you don't mind walking stairs). No frills, quiet, tidy, with helpful staff. This is the most authentic and best value for money experience I've ever had in the centre of any big tourist city (and I've stayed in far more than my REVIEWER status of novice traveller would indicate ;-)

It's a good hostel with a good location , 5 min walk from the station, and the street is safe and the hostel as well. But there is no common room to meet other people you are alone, so it's perfect for one day stay but more than that you need another place to communicate with other people. Giovana is a nice lady but she doesn't know English well.

The place is exactly as announced, a clean, simple room, with a correct price. The hostel is a 5 minutes walk from the train station, which at 24h on a Monday night was perfectly safe and crowded. There's an extremely nice lady with whom you can arrange your time of arrival. Although I had a shared bathroom it was very clean. At some point it can be noisy outside, although I just had this problem for 15 minutes.

Albergo Giovanna is a single floor in a multi-floor apartment. Giovanna is very sweet, speaks decent English, but isn't necessarily built to be in the hospitality industry. There is NEVER any soap and rarely any toilet paper in the bathroom and you have to pay for wi-fi (not expensive, just the principle of the matter). The communal shower is a mess because there's only 1 and the shower gets water all over the bathroom. Decent place, decent price, but will probably look elsewhere for next time.

Ms. Giovanna was absolutely the nicest woman. She made you feel at home. I was very comfortable. She told me great places to eat, things to see, all of the above. Her place is very secure, it's in a great location. 2 minute walk from bus/train station. You are centrally located. The place is very clean and organized. It was an amazing stay. I have no complaints.

Numbering on street difficult, thus difficult to find building. 3 stories up. Lovely Lady who owned it. Great location. Warm water in shower. Room a little cold as February. Lady gave us coffee in the morning. Great restaurants near by.

This was the WORST experience from all the hostels I stayed in italy. I actually got into a screaming argument with the woman owner. First, she told us we need to pay a fee for using wifi. Second, before even reaching the premise, she charged my credit card. Third, we payed for private room with private bathroom and she refused to give us that. And last, the room was freezing cold and refused to turn up the heat. She has no sense of customer service and just wants to swindle you from your money

The lovely little lady who runs the place is simply fantastic. It's like staying at your grandmothers house, tacky decorations and all. Loved it.

My stay there was pretty good. When I arrived there, the single room I booked was still occupied, so Giovana gave me a huge room with a big bed and bathroom with the same price. The only problem is the amount of stairs :( Other than that, nice place to stay - very quiet and clean.

I needed 1 room with only 2 beds, but only 1 was available "3 Bed Private Shared Bathroom" where it says if you book this room for 1 - 2, you must still pay for the equivalent of 3 people" bcz is 1 room for 3! and I accepted, but when I was there, there were 3 beds in separate rooms, so I paid 1 room that I didnt use, I'm still very dissapointed about this, please if you still want to pay me back (yerali_cf@hotmail.com), and review it in the website is really bad offer somthing you dont have
