Hostel was in a great location and the cleanliness of the room was great. There was an issue with our booking that the staff blamed us on (we booked for 4 and they said we only booked for 3). We had the paperwork to prove we booked for 4 and they quickly changed our room from a three bed with a trundle (we were originally told that the trundle would be an added cost too because of our apparent error) to a massive 4 bed with an ensuite. Ensuite was a little dated with poor ventilation.
The hotel is very well located, just neat Il Palio et il Duomo. Staff was friendly and helpful with advising a restaurant or best places to visit. The bathroom was quite small but clean, as the room. The noise from the street was a bit disturbing early in the morning. The hotel is on the second floor without lift, so it may not be recommended for people who hold heavy luggages or who have difficulties climbing steps.
Perfect. Great atmosphere.5 beds in a room in a wonderful setting in the centre of a mouthwateringly beautiful town. Very special memories. Thanks so much.
Perfectly located to walk all of siena! The ensuit-twin room bathroom was very poor according to the amount of money payed to stay in the hostel.
A very nice receptionnist who carries your luggage is very helpful and pleasant!
Great hotel for a stay in Siena. Right in the city center, and just a few steps away from the Piazza del Campo. Also, their list of hours of operations and prices for the main attractions is very convenient for travelers. Their wifi in the rooms isn't great, but honestly you are in Siena and shouldn't be on the Internet that much anyway. Great hotel, and would go back

Nice place to stay. Very close to piazza il campo.
Nothing great about this place except for the location. Would not stay again, but if you are booking on strictly location and not going to spend anytime in your room this will be fine.
FantastIc location right next to the main square. Internet didn't work for me (you need a mobile to register and it has difficulties sending to some European countries).
Very close to Il Campo. Staff was very friendly and helpful in both knowing the hotel and the nearby area. Room was clean with A/C. Shower was in a small space in the bathroom but not bothersome. A little weird smell in our private room but with the window open it was not noticeable.
Very simple place. Well located but no great facilities available, no breakfast.

Nice little b/b in middle of Siena. Easy to find. Very helpful in the reseption. Ok for couples, not for families. Value for money
Had the room in the attic, very good view but the staircase was a bit hard to get up they are spiral. Only stayed one night so don't have a big opinion but the staff were helpful - took a bag up the stairs for us to make things easier
La Perla has an excellent location - at a quiet square and just next to the main square of Siena. Rooms are quiet small but perfectly clean and well furnished. There's no problem if you want to store your luggage before leaving the city. Friendly staff do their best to help you, even with carrying your holdall up the stairs.
Great location, very near the main square and the cathedral. Clean rooms, helpful staff. I rated the atmosphere "average" because the rooms weren´t soundproof at all. Our room was next to the lobby and we could hear LOUD conversations very late into the night and early the next morning, not to mention all the street noise since the windows weren´t soundproof either. If you are a light sleeper, I would choose a different place. But if you´re a heavy sleeper the location is excellent.
It's a shame that there aren't any hostels in Siena, but La Perla is a great hotel and a relatively good value. Very clean, very good wifi, TV, great staff.
Nice place where to stay, welcoming staff (especially the French girl who gave us good adresses for restaurants). But a bit noisy, the walls are thin when people pass by the corridor or talk at 8.30am at the reception...
Directions are a little confusing as its not right n the square its in the street back. If you get lost and don't have a map the info centre in Piazza Del Campo knows where the hotel is! Really nice and clean place to stay and really close to everything there is to see in Florence. Highly recommend.
