Albergo marina is a bed and breakfast situated in the heart of Monterosso old town. We stayed there for 3 days in one of the appartments 1 minute walking from the main building, the room was good and big and well decorated but we didn't have wifi and we had to go to the main building to have internet conexion so it was quite annoying. The breakfast was very good with amazing tortillas and creps but I missed a good coffee as the one they provide is from a machine and it is not very good.

My significant other and I stayed here for two nights for one of the most relaxing few days of our trip. The facility was quaint, comfortable and the staff was incredibly helpful. The area was so peaceful and it was very quiet even though there were other people staying. They even offered free afternoon snacks and breakfast within the price. We took several business cards home with us to give to friends who will be visiting. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

The owners were very nice and helpful, however, the man at the front desk had very strong body odor. The breakfast was wonderful, the best we had over our two week travels. We did not like the "kitschy" decor. We thought it cheapened the hotel. The items looked like they were purchased at a very inexpensive souvenir shop. The bath towels were very thin and appeared to have been line-dried, as they were very stiff and scratchy. Overall, a bit disappointing.

A dream come true. It was so nice to stay at such a wonderful place but the real joy was meeting Marina, her husband and kids. They are such joyful people, love to run their hotel and make you feel happy and extremely well served. Loved it!

Very good hotel, comfortable. The only problem was that on the second night we had to be moved to a different room... a room where the bed was infested with ants. The staff was very apologetic and moved us to a different room. Also another issue was that I don't think the wifi necessarily reaches all of the rooms. Very good breakfast in the morning. Staff was good about guiding us to our locations. Also they have snacks from 2-5 which is nice even though we never made it back for those.

It's a hotel, not a hostel, but a nice place to stay in Monterosso.
