That's a tough one. To get there you should have a car or helicopter. You end up in the no-where. The Staff couldn't speak Spanish, English, Czech or German. We just pointed and found everything. The showers were cold at the beginning but the staff could fix it after a while on the phone, seemed to be his first day. Kitchen was dirty and plenty rotten food in the fridge. The beds are just sleeping bags on a wooden shelf. Was a great kids camp in 1990 but needs overhaul.

Security: no locks on rooms, no lockers Location:only found it due to sat nav, really need a car to get to and out of it, beautiful amazing views once you are there Staff: no one there until 11pm, I arrived at 1, no instructions left for what to do. Other guests helped us. Atmosphere: Manager seems to be a bit of a loose canon so you have to be prepared to go with the flow. Other guests all fine, communal areas for chatting, drinking, eating.

Hostel lies at a beautiful location in the mountains at a height of about 700 meter. It has a terrace from which you can see the entire valley and - when there are no clouds - the volcano Pico del Teide. Breakfast was really good too at this hostel. Cleaniliness of the beds/sleeping bags and lockers would make this hostel an even better place!

Hidden from the touristic aereas, surrounded by nature and animals. The host has a big heart and full bag of stories. I personally loved it.

The view of the Hostel is just breathtaking!!! You'll be up on the mountain and see beautiful Teide, cities and the ocean. That alone is already worth it to stay a night there. The staff (Thomas) is just the best. You'll have hot water all the time and the beds (even they don't look like) are quite comfy. The only thing is, I won't recommend to go there during cold weather season, there is no heating and it was quite cold in January during my stay. Busses are seldom, a car is recommended.

Cool place! Definitely a different sort of experience from the typical beach scene. The views from the hostel are absolutely stunning, a spectacular view of the island, the ocean and even of the peak of Mount Teide. It can be tricky to find and get to, especially without a vehicle but not too bad. Just take the 380 bus from La Orotava and be prepared for a hike uphill (sometimes the 380 bus goes all the way to where the hostel is and sometime only partway). I recommend it for a cool experience.

Really nice and different place. If you expect 4-5 stars hotel - it is not!!! If you love nature and value eco friendly place and the peacefull location with amazing views - it is the best hostal you could find in Canarian islands. The rooms where small, but the hallrooms where really spacious and the terrace is really big, so if you dont close yourself in the room, you will have great space to meet other backpackers in this hostal.
