Great hostel, very family-like, friendly staff though not English speaking, the beach Boa Viagem like in any other cities - it is better to catch a bus to Porto do Galinhas.

'Ho-ho-hO' Sailing through life's not always easy if we sailors can't find a safe net where to recharge from loneliness, starvation and waves. In Recife, i found the best net for my boat! I was fed, i had a bed and i had dozens of other sailors and pirates to share experiences, during the almost two weeks that i spend there. Colorful, 'musicful' and vibrant with life...i would mark a cross in my treasure map for this one. ** Pirates aboard, the ship is leaving! .)

I spent a GREAT time there. The staff are just awesome! Including the owner that usually hang out around and is very kindly and interesting. On Christmas we had a special (and free) dinner. Staffs, just for their own pleasure took me to places they liked in the city and was awesome. It s a bit annoying that they have a curfew for the kitchen and alcohool inside the building. however, they re kinda flexible with the rules. After all, the experience was awesome and I would not choose other hostel.

Very nico decoration, people very welcoming and nice neighborhood - 5min walking to the beach. Paulo, the manager, has always time to chat and exchange ideas with his guests (I really appreciated that moments). The hostel is secure and close from the airport (and far enough to not hear it).

Paulo, the owner was very helpful, as well as a girl who was giving some tips about the city and what to do there. Rest of the staff not too helpful - but as the owner commented, most of them was just hired. Anyways forget about communication in english (only owner spoke fluently)

Very nice place, I liked especially the warm atmosphere. The house looks a bit crappy from the outside, but inside its very pretty, clean and colourfull with lots of art. Breakfast was good with warm cheese-toast and fresh juice.

Nice hostal, incredibly decorated and well kept, bathrooms always clean and common spaces very cozy. Staff was weird, there were many people, so we were never sure who was responsible of what. They forgot our extra reservation and they did't care we didn't have anywhere to stay.
