It was great to stay there! The owner, Paulo, is very nice and helpful. He knows everything that is going on in the city, and where and how to get there. The location is fantastic, close to the beach and in a safe area. A lovely hostel with a really warm, friendly, homely and personal feel. Definately recommend.

not enough bathrooms for the number of people, there were always queues during peak times. the whole place felt a bit crowded, and staff just seemed to hang around all the time even if they weren't working making it feel very crowded   Read Owner Comments

This i s a truly great hostel, the best I have stayed in since travelling. The staff speak english if needed and the owner is particularly helpful in pointing out local attractions. If you go to REcife you must stay here!

Paulo helps you and helps students who people his staff. All are smiling, generous, beautiful. The place is home away from home with a jolly uncle to help you watch your step. Clean, safe, friendly. Breakfast is good too around a family table.

The first day we stayed there they had a problem with the plumbing and there was no water, but after that it was great.

We had a blast at this hostel. It is very different with lots of artwork. Very cool. It is in a weird location (3 floor of an office building) so the taxi driver did have some trouble finding it. We loved Paulo and his staff!
