stay at Piratas was a memorable experience. The hostel is very very well located just at coner of the beach. The hostel is very well care and new with a lot of facilities and space to share and enjoy and the staff is very efficient and offers a lot of attention to his guests. I am totalty satisfied and it was already the second time that I decided stay here at Piratas.

Your staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean (thank you!) and yet it was affordable. Had a great time in Recife.

I stayed in 6 bed dorm. Great hostel, great staff, good breakfast, 5 min away from the beach, good advices what to do regarding sightseeing, concerts, nightlife..., good price-value I totally recommend to stay there!

Good facilities, great breakfast and really close to the beach. Only downfall is that the staff don't speak very good English and they dont know so much about tours and things to do in the city.

That's an awesome hostel. Its staff and atmosphere are welcoming and cheerful. Security is great as you need a key to get into the room and there are lockers inside. Location couldn't be better given that the hostel is 10 min away from the beach if you walk and there are banks, markets, bakeries and drugstores nearby. Its breakfast has a good variety of food and drink. All things considered, it may be the most expensive hostel I ever stayed in, but it ends up being worthy.

Very nice place to enjoy Recife city.

Excellent hostel, the breakfast is really good and the common area is really cozy and easy to chat with the other guests. The neighborhood is too quiet at night tho so to go out you have to take a bus or cab to downtown.

Great hostel in a great location, beach only 2 minutes away and dorm beds even have curtains. Staff are super friendly and super helpful. Breakfast is also very good. Lots of different chill out areas. Highly recommend you stay here.

Great location and very, very clean. The beds are uncomfortable and having only one bathroom for 12 people is crazy. People responsible for breakfast didnt have things ready by 8:30am when breakfast was supposed to be ready by 7am.

hostel was nice with a chilled vibe, some of the staff's English was a little hard to understand, you can bring your own beer to the hostel which was awesome and there was a little supermarket about 20 meters away!

Nice place to stay in Recife. Great breakfast. The crew running the place put a lot of effort in it, from the design to keeping it clean. Recomended.

Its a nice place, free fruits and too close a "red light district" for gringos seeking cheap fun ahahaha

The place was good, although my bed was in a "room within a room" - there was only 2 beds and no air conditioning - and no power outlets - the only power outlets in the room had to be used for fans to keep the room at a suitable temperature for sleep. Everything else about this hostel was awesome :)

The hostel had all the necessary amenities, but the rooms in the 2nd floor has only one toilet for 10 people, which was a problem when you need to leave in a hurry. The location of the hostel was excellent, not just close to the beach, but also groceries and banks were all nearby. It would be preferable having a few more english speaking guys at reception.
