Good location in the quiet area, very close to metro station. Pedro is a very friendly and helpful person who told us a lot about Barcelona and places we should visit. Breakfast is perhaps not that big but very good and the person who serves it - Cecilia - is charming and really amazing. What could be a better begin of the day than a coffee with her smile? If we ever visit Barcelona again we will definitely choose Albergue Studio as a place to stay. Monika and Mariusz, Poland.

Nice hostel, but a bit too far from the center, you have to take the metro. Staff great, not too much noise. I recommend it.

Really nice hostel it was out of town but in a really nice quiet area, with very easy access to the center of the city. 1 minute walk to the metro and supermarket. Very helpful staff. There wasn't much of a kitchen but breakfast is made for you, and you get a cup of real coffee...

I'd like to say a big-big thank you for everything you did to me. You created a beautiful, warm atmosphere in the hostel and I really felt like home during my stay. As it was the my first time in Spain I was a little lost , but you always helped me in everything. There is nothing more precious than somebody who welcomes me as I arrive home in the evening and invites me to sit down to tell how was my day.....and those delicious coffees in the morning...hmmm:) Thank you so much!!!

The hostel was much less than expected . Although you pay quite low , but you also get what you pay .. it is far away from the center , you need to use the train system in Barcelona to get into the center .which is not as convienient as the Metro system. There is no atmosphere of a hostel , the room was small and the windows were single glass which is quite cold in winter times . The owner seems to be nice but couldn't feel any vibes from the place , at least for those looking for some action..

Great hostel, great staff, a little far but 5 minutes from the subway (and 10 minutes to the Plaza de Cataluña)

I have been traveling for 7 months and arriving here I felt like I arrived at an old friends house. I was welcomed with open arms by Pedro who is very knowledgeable about the area and will go to any length to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. It was warm and cozy and the breakfast is amazing. It was just the place I needed to rest and relax.

It is near the metro station line 6, very easy to find in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. Warm-hearted staff offered a lot of informaton about the sight seeings in BCN.

Best Value for money. You cant ask for more in 8 Euros per day. Carlos is so co-operative and the breakfast is of good quality. Its a bit far from centre of Barcelona but I bought 10 trip pass for metro which was enough. The surrounding area was great, and you can park the car for free within 5 mins walk. I strongly recommend this hostel.

The owner and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean, safe and quiet most of the times. You might think the location is too far from downtown Barcelona but you get to Plaza Catalunya in 20minutes by train. It's not the owner's fault but Hostelworld should have informed us that double room means bunk beds! Bottom line, I enjoyed my stay at Albergue Studio and I would come back! Barcelona is a wonderful city!

Great and helpfull staff; really nice and very clean hostel, good breakfast. If you go to Barcelona it's a really good place to stay, even that it is few metro stops from the centre (but the metro station is few steps from the hostel).

if you want a cheap ... close to the metro station and safe place to stay this is a one way choice. Clean & cosy. The staff is very polite and very helpful ....you will feel like it's your family. You can start your day with a fresh espresso or a cocoa milk along with a good breakfast and then take the nearby metro and explore the city. If you want to relax you can watch something in the big screen tv or play ping-pong or even a board game. I recommend the place if you want to stay in Barcelona.

Very nice hostel. Owner is a polite, affable and very helpful man. Always with a smile on his face. Considering the price, hostel is just right. It's clean, beds are comfy (we had 3 bed private, ensuite), bathroom is small, but functional. There is always hot water. Breakfast consists of baguette, butter, fruit jams, chocolate spread, muffin and coffee (very good coffee! :)) or tea. Metro station is very close to the hostel and it takes about 15 minutes to the very center of Barcelona.

The staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. The location is kind of far from the center (la Rambla etc) but its right by a metro so you will never get lost finding it no matter how crazy of a night you've had! The place is kept really clean, the amenities like computers and kitchen are on a different floor, yet convenient. And the price doesnt spike just because its a weekend which is what I really liked! For what I paid it was a great choice!
