The breakfast’ staff seem grumpy, makes a lot of noise speaking, and they makes feel you like a nuisance. Otherwise, they seem very friendly with Brazilians (the difference in treatment is notorious). Smoke is not allowed, but the staff can do it in a special area, near from eating area (contradictory). Recycle is great, sadly, a clean’s woman does not respect (she has thrown 5 boxes of milk into the trash). The spiral staircase (3rd floor) is difficult to climb.

Thank you so much for your help. The breakfast is judge and the staff very friendly. The bathroom was always clean and I can only recommend to stay there.

It was very nice and clean, friendly people, very good prices, tasty breakfast, transfer-options to the isla grande and to the airport, good connection to bus and metro, not a party hostel, botafogo is not the most interesting quarter of the city, but because of the central location you can reach every part of the city very quick.

The location in Botafogo is good, the metro is close and can connect you to everywhere in Rio. The staff was helpful and can arrange airport transfers that are very reasonably priced. Some of the larger hostel rooms I stayed in in Rio, but all the mattresses had think bulky covers that were very uncomfortable for sleeping, though good for cleanliness. The breakfast was good and secuirty was good, but they could use a storage room for luggage if you have to check in or out early.

Great welcome by friendly, informative staff. Great location for travelling around the city.
