Gostei muito do albergue e de sua localização. Seria interessante haver uma chave do quarto para cada hóspede, pois vi alguns problemas de pessoas que não conseguiam entrar em seus quartos por que alguem esqueceu de deixar a chave. É preciso sempre checar as reservas feitas, pois quando cheguei, um funcionário havia colocado um grupo misto (que preferia não se separar) no quarto em que eu havia feito minha reserva.

I really enjoyed my stay there. The hostel is very close to the beach and there is a kitchen for cooking the stuff bought in the supermarket right opposite the hostel. The staff was very kind, the breakfast was nice and the hammocks spread a cosy atmosphere...

Looks nice from outside, inside you have to consider if you like it. Better book with HI youth hostel when member - than you pay only R$ 28 per night. Breakfast is not worth it.

we thought all and all this hostel was ok. nothing special, but i did the job. pros: good location, nice decour, close to supermarket, friendly staff(minus one lady), good facilities, lots of space. cons: food is regularly stolen from communal fridge (not just us, but other peoples food too), as i said, all and all we thought it was ok, but im sure there are better hostels in salvador...especially for that price.
