The hostel felt a bit hard to find. I also felt like the bathrooms where not the nicest(in the sense that the boiler was super hot and in your face and kinda annoying when you were taking a shower and also the sinks were kinda inconvenient to use).

I DO NOT recommand this hostel for many reasons : the location is not good, it took us forever to find the place (very narrow and dark street), the staff is not friendly and sometimes not even here there are no real common room to rest and talk with others Most of the people here are local chinese family. We were matched with a Chinese living in a room since forever, he has a alligator turtle (dangerous pet) in the room (i let you guess the smelling in the room) and the bed were very hard...

Nice place. Very homely. The guy that was on duty when i was there was super nice and helpful and his English was pretty good. Near Xisi station. So not far at all from the center (Tienanmen). I would stay here again. There's also a super tasty dumpling shop 30 seconds from there.

this place is great. city center, next to a subway st. the room and bed are clean, and so are the toilet and shower, and small kitchen. the place is very small, not many foreigners, so it suits you only if you are looking for a quiet envoirment。 the common room is a bit too small, but still clean and peacefull. very much enjoyed staying in this small hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful and came to meet me in the street when I arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight.

Location is questionable. Didn't feel safe in that alley.

I was there for a weekend and mainly for meeting friends. So wasnt able to stay long but it was perfect for my needs. Very clean rooms and linen and a well maintained property withe very helpful staff speaking good English Excellent location as it is close to Xisi subway station. Has a convenience store and a mega mart right next door so very helpful. WiFi speed was also quite good without any network issues. and a wall plug near every bed for your charging needs. Absolute value for money!

Extremely helpful staff, willing to go the extra mile for you. The hostel was very clean and only a 5 minute walk from the subway. Another plus was that it was close to a lot of delicious small restaurants serving different types of Chinese food, like malaxiangguo and shaokao. The only downside was that the wifi was slow/almost non-existent in the rooms. We told the staff and they tried to fix it.

We had deluxe private and it was really like a hotel room, very clean, big beds, very cosy and quiet. The only minus is location - even though it's near the palace area, there are no bars and shops near, just kind of working class district.

Actually, there are nice cafes nearby, just 5min walking, and about 20min by subway to the Houhai bar street. Or if anybody want to go there, we can show the route to go. Thank you for your review.

The rooms where verry clean modern and nice. The staff extremly friendly. Everything just fine and it has a selfservice kitchen. The onlything that is missing is space for a lounge area or sitting area. The is no communal room to sit and meet. The rest is just verry fine and good value for money.

Great Place if you want to chill and not have the noise of a in-house bar or restaurant. Suited me to have quiet nights and a handy location to parks, malls and the subway. What makes this place a very comfortable alternative is the staff. They were so helpful in fielding questions, even opening the door when I arrived late. It's the little things that matter and this place had it all. Cleanliness, location and friendly English speaking staff. Thank-you Alborada! Bravo!!!!
