Great Hostel in an interesting part of the city. There is a great court yard for meeting fellow travellers. The staff is great and helpfull. No complaints about the facilities either. We had a great stay. Definately recommend! :)
The guide of the direction of hostel should have the Metro station that is very closed, not the S-Bahn station only. This help travellers take choice of the way to reach the hostel. There should have hooks for hanging the clothes in the bathroom. I like that there are area of lockers and common room connecting to the bedroom. The hostel provides free internet that is very good. I finished the reviews of some hostels and sent it to Hostelworld there.
Only a short tram or train away from the city center with a very friendly atmosphere and staff. 6 bed dorm had a little communal area so felt very social - good for solo travelers. Beware a 5 Euro fee for linen though so not as cheap as it seems. Location is lovely with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby at much cheaper prices than in the middle of the city.

Very good value for money. Excellent location. I would definetely go back again!
Lovely rooms with very clean beds and showers. The only thing this place lacked was a bit of atmosphere! No bar, no communal area to congregate makes it very hard to meet people.
Dealt with Jan and Bram at reception, sound fella's, helped me out with gig directions, good pubs to go to etc.
Cool hostel all in all. I honestly didn't hang out in the common areas so much so I can't comment on the patio but the rooms were nice and they had their own living rooms in the mixed dorms. Good location right near the S train and the trams were very close as well. Tons of food places nearby and the staff were very knowledgeable. If you plan on going out and about (especially at night) then don't hesitate to ask reception for good places and they'll mark them all out on a map they provide.
Excellent hostel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. One complaint was that the wifi in our rooms was not working so we had to go down to the lobby to use wifi. Everything else was great!
Good clean hostel. Very close to the Subway and the park.
Room 23 could use some fresh paint. There are some nasty spots on the wall, especially around the table area. The bed was very comfortable and the room in general (except the wall), especially the bathroom were clean. Also it was very nice that it was not in a noisy area, though nice places to eat and drink were close by. All in all a good deal. But the best was the staff: everyone was very, very nice.
Location was far from the places I found to be the coolest parts of Berlin, but not a horrible trip on the metro (which is a great value by the week long ticket if you are staying a week's time!). But, i would definitely have preferred to have stayed closer to Wausherstrasse. However, there is a track around the corner with free access and soccer fields, too. There are pretty hip restaurants and cafes in the area, which I went to instead of the free breakfast (so worth it). Met some cool people.
The location is great if you want to enjoy the beauty of prenzlauer berg!
Fantastic location, there are many shops around and a really cheap pizzeria near the Eberswalde Straße U-bahn station. Also about a 10 minute walk from the S-bahn Ring, which was useful. Outside door is locked late evening and night, also keys to the room and lockers in the dorm. We slept in an 8-bed dorm, which were actually two rooms with 2 bunk beds each (awesome!). Computer terminals are slow but wifi is excellent near the common areas. Kitchen is well stocked, generally everything is clean.
Great place! Lots of stairs so be prepared. Washrooms and rooms were very clean. Location is great, super easy to get to from the Airport.
Lovely place, really friendly staff! There's some great cafés around and an amazing Fish and Chips place down the road that I recommend. If you want to stay in East Berlin, this definitely a good hostel! But one downside is the buffet breakfast it was a bit disappointing, but that's optional anyway :)

A good place to stay in Berlin. Good price, secure, clean, and the people were friendly. There's a kitchen, internet access, reception, etc. The bathrooms/showers didn't wow me, though.
A good hostel to be based at for the convention we attended. Code entry through the main doors & key entry to the stairwell & the door before your rooms after hours. Wifi didn't work in the rooms but worked fine in the courtyard & common areas. The common bathroom/toilets were cleaned daily. The staff were really helpful & even offered tips when you least expect it.
Very well located. Staff were very nice. The room was clean, however, it had a bad smell. It didn't go away openning the windows so we had to get some air freshner.

Decent hostel very roomie.. Staff is rather friendly as well. I had 1 main problems.. wifi was only down stairs in lobby which closed at night.
Great time in the hostel, just not the place to meet a fun group of people. For that I would go to a St.Christophers
