Excellent place, great staff, large room, with a well stocked kitchen. Don't hesitate to stay here. It's a bit far from the center, but it is 2 trams away, you will be fine.

I had a really nice stay here! The hostel was lovely and the rooms a good size. The dining area and outside patio were excellent spaces. The showers flooded and bathroom and the breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was. Other than that I had a really good time and would recommend to others definitely.

The place is central and great if you like small boutiques, cheap food and the flea market. I enjoyed the area. The staff are very helpful. I was in a 8 bedroom, which was actually split into two rooms, it is also quite spacious. It is a very cheap hostel, so there are things that are less satisfactory.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Staff were all very very helpful and gave us good places to go and how to get there. Rooms were perfect and really clean when we arrived and bathroom was cleaned regularly. Would definitely stay again!

Really friendly and helpful staff - reception is open until 1AM I think. Our room was nice, clean and felt really secure and safe. All the communal areas are great and there was a good atmosphere, however we found it hard to meet other travelers (compared to other hostels anyway). The location is not very central but it is in a really cute part of the city and we just loved it! There are loads of really sweet restaurants and bars around it and a tram stop and S-bahn station really close.

We only stayed one night, in a double bed suite, sharing the bathroom with one other room. Clean, spacious, no trouble with the wi-fi, free print-outs, and also directions to the best breakfast I had during my stay in Germany. Absolutely worth your cash, and probably good for longer stays as well.

Great Hostel in an interesting part of the city. There is a great court yard for meeting fellow travellers. The staff is great and helpfull. No complaints about the facilities either. We had a great stay. Definately recommend! :)

The guide of the direction of hostel should have the Metro station that is very closed, not the S-Bahn station only. This help travellers take choice of the way to reach the hostel. There should have hooks for hanging the clothes in the bathroom. I like that there are area of lockers and common room connecting to the bedroom. The hostel provides free internet that is very good. I finished the reviews of some hostels and sent it to Hostelworld there.

Only a short tram or train away from the city center with a very friendly atmosphere and staff. 6 bed dorm had a little communal area so felt very social - good for solo travelers. Beware a 5 Euro fee for linen though so not as cheap as it seems. Location is lovely with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby at much cheaper prices than in the middle of the city.

Lovely rooms with very clean beds and showers. The only thing this place lacked was a bit of atmosphere! No bar, no communal area to congregate makes it very hard to meet people.

Dealt with Jan and Bram at reception, sound fella's, helped me out with gig directions, good pubs to go to etc.

Cool hostel all in all. I honestly didn't hang out in the common areas so much so I can't comment on the patio but the rooms were nice and they had their own living rooms in the mixed dorms. Good location right near the S train and the trams were very close as well. Tons of food places nearby and the staff were very knowledgeable. If you plan on going out and about (especially at night) then don't hesitate to ask reception for good places and they'll mark them all out on a map they provide.

Excellent hostel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. One complaint was that the wifi in our rooms was not working so we had to go down to the lobby to use wifi. Everything else was great!

Room 23 could use some fresh paint. There are some nasty spots on the wall, especially around the table area. The bed was very comfortable and the room in general (except the wall), especially the bathroom were clean. Also it was very nice that it was not in a noisy area, though nice places to eat and drink were close by. All in all a good deal. But the best was the staff: everyone was very, very nice.

Location was far from the places I found to be the coolest parts of Berlin, but not a horrible trip on the metro (which is a great value by the week long ticket if you are staying a week's time!). But, i would definitely have preferred to have stayed closer to Wausherstrasse. However, there is a track around the corner with free access and soccer fields, too. There are pretty hip restaurants and cafes in the area, which I went to instead of the free breakfast (so worth it). Met some cool people.

The location is great if you want to enjoy the beauty of prenzlauer berg!
