Great staff and good location too. It is what yo pay for and very fair. I really liked it a lot. Mostly the staff just so helpful.

Amazing hostel, staff were very friendly and helpful and walking distance to the center. could not recommend a hostel more highley.

I enjoyed my stay at the Alcatraz hostel. It's a small hostel with a cosy atmosphere, where the graffiti on the walls adds up to its quirkiness. It's located close to both the underground station Eberswalder Straße and the Mauerpark as well as in an area offering a plethora of cheap eateries and cafés. The hostel comes with a well-equipped kitchen and a smoothly running WiFi-connection too.

You should get new mattresses, they make terrible noise every time someone moves. Wi-fi didn't work in the room.

The staff and rooms at this hostel were amazing. Fun helpful employees, very close to transit, fully equipped kitchen and close to great restaurants, shops, and coffee! Our only problem was that there was no wi-fi in our room, only in the common areas, which close at 10pm (outside) and 1am (inside). There is also no elevator which led to a few "leave me save yourself" moments after busy days of touristing. All in all though, heartily recommend!

The location is very good and close to the metro. The atmosphere is really welcoming, the staff is really nice and helpful and the gussets are friendly and interesting. the graffiti on the walls add to the atmosphere and give it a really cool Berlin vibe. All in all its a really nice place to stay for a good price.

my stay was great, no problem at all. very smooth...... will come again if possible

We had an awesome stay and the staff are awesome! The walls were a bit too thin :) and the rooms were not really reflecting the AWESOME graffiti styled walls on the outside and at the stairs! Way too white and nothing on those bare walls.
