We had a great time at Alda Centro Salamanca. Perfectly located close to the city center in walking distance to the main attractions. And it was very easy to find from the bus station. Very friendly and helpful staff. The standards lived up to our expectations. Thumbs up!

I found it very difficult to meet people but that was propbably due to the fact that it was semana santa and the hostel attracted mainly Spanish groups of people who did not mix that easily. Other than that very clean and very friendly and helpful staff.

The location was great and the hostel was clean. The kitchen was sub par. Barely stocked with basic kitchen equipment/utensils/ The room was not overcrowded but the ensuite bathroom was a pain to wait for. There is no public bathroom in addition. There is currently some remodeling work going on at the facility. Common room was uncomfortable but clean and spacious.

I stayed with my friend one night in this hostel and I can say it is really nice. The staff was polite and friendly, the conditions of the room were very good for the price. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. It is close to Plaza Mayor-about 10min. In General I would give it 5!(A)

Nice rooms with own bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, kitchen is a bit small... location close to the plaza mayor, in summary: good hostel for staying for a few days with clean, friendly rooms and a homely atmosphere!

Great hostel, especially for the price. THey even gave us a discount because of some floor boards being cracked in the bathroom! At first I was nervous about the location, but it's literally in the middle of plaza mayor and calle van dick. The room smelled a bit like varnish, which is pretty much my only complaint... and the fact that they didnt sponsor any activities.

Anyone is in the hostel at any time...if you have problems you have to call. The location is very extricated, you don't have to do any noise after 23:00 hrs.

Dear costumer, we have reception time but maybe you didn´t see anybody because it was late (a member of the staff sleeps always at hostel). For us the most important thing is that the people can rest, that´s because we don´t want noise after 23:00 hrs. Thank you

It was cold season in Salamanca, and the room was ice cold. No warming or anything, the radiators were not working. Luckily we got some sleeping bags and lots of clothes with us. And there was no warm water in the shower or in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable.

I've stayed in many hostels and this was really poor. The 84% rating is too generous. The staff was pleasant but not really engaged. There was too much noise ALL the time. You could hear all room noises and the doors slamming continuously through the night. The charges should be even less. Our location in Madrid in comparison was awesome!

The photographs on the internet had nothing to do with our rooms. We were sent to the hostel "Reise" or something like that. Though the price remained the same the service had nothing to do with the one we booked. The toilet was a miniature and the toilet lid was constantly falling in the back since there wasn't enough space in the bathroom to lift it properly up!!! The kitchen was only partially functioning. The only really positive aspect of the hostel was the friendly staff.
