Aldea Hostel San Jose Reviews

Good place with clean rooms and helpful staff

Cozy hostel. Wifi works. Pool table and flat screen tv in the lounge. Bathrooms had no hot water. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hostel is located a bit outside of downtown but you can take a bus/cab anywhere.

Definitely a cool place - it's got a lot of style and character. Hot showers for a limited time in the morning and evening and there are no shades on the windows. Close to banks, a grocery store, restaurants and a 900 colones (less than 2 U$D) taxi ride from the Coca Cola bus station.

Really close to the Tica bus station which is really handy. Clean rooms and hot showers. Lot of communal space inside and out, would recommend. Plus really helpful staff :)

The hostel is closer to the city center than most other hostels, and has a nice atmosphere & staff! Next time I will stay in san jose I will stay there again.

Lots of great character and comfortable... Great staff, always helpful and assisting... Great customer service, and love the atmosphere will definitely stay with Aldea again! It's close to La Avenia Central, and it's very central to almost everything!

Overall a good facility. Clean and quiet. Free coffee and bananas for breakfast. Staff was very helpful.

Aldea would not be the same without the Beautiful, Caring, Loving Staff . Thanks to All.. they made our journey an extra special one. Met beautiful journeymen passing through...Aldea is a place where people share,Care,cry, love, laugh, live and learn!!!!! Looking forward to our next trip ....Costa Rica----Pure Life!!!!!!!!
