one of the best hostel i ve seen in brasil. it´s more a pousada, which is even better for the price of a hostel (but not the cheapest one). the owners were really nice, helpfull with a lot of suggestions; high quality breakfast.

Not a youthful atmosphere, but clean quiet and relatively nice. There were several families and couples traveling when we were there. There's also a pizzeria in the hostel.

Very quite place. This is not a party town, but the beaches and waterfalls to the north and south of town are very nice.
