We only had a few hours here before going to the airport. The staff were warm and welcoming with a lovely meal late at night.. Could not fault a thing. would definitly recommend this place.

I travel to Dar regularly for my business but like to spend as little as possible on hotels, which can be so expensive and usually not worth the money, which I'd rather put toward other expenses, like paying my Tanzanian colleagues better salaries. Alemap House is going to be my home base from now on; it's in a convenient, safe location between Mikocheni and Kijitonyama, has reliable Internet *and* hot water, good food, and most important, a charming family. Thank you to Nancy and her family!
