it was a shame i went when i did in the summer, very quiet in fact i was the only person staying there. Plus the reception only being open for a short time was a pain, i had to climb up the steps with my backpack so it was a bit of a hassle so plan your trip. when the reception was finally open the guy was really helpful and helped me with quite a few things. good facilities and clean shower/toilets/kitchen. within minutes walking distance to everywhere

I was glad to be welcomed by the polite responsible gentleman in the evening. It was a nice room that I have been given. I would again stay there if I returned to Aalesund.

It is not very clear how to check out, because reception works from 16:00 to 20:00 and there was a problem where should I leave key of the room.

Good location, nice hostel room with ensuite. Room had its own kitchen, which although we did not use, would have been useful if the main kitchen was busy. Good breakfast also included in the price. Staff friendly and helpful.

friendly staff, keys were given for the big dorms, but no one ever left the door shut and there were no lockers. great breakfast buffet and very close to the centre. up the hill from the bus station.

The place is excellent located and the staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was good. The room for 12 people had enough space and the showers and bathroom were clean. In general I would recommend this hostel!

Well located hostel in the city center just by the main lookout point. They close at night so make sure to be there on time. The breakfast is very good.
