I've traveled a lot and I can say that this hostel was one of the best I've ever stayed at. When I arrived, the owner was really helpful from the start, and the staff kept being nice and available during the rest of my stay. The big common room is a very nice place to chill out. Breakfast is basic but good, lots of plugs in the room. I was in a standard 8 female dorm and it was roomy, clean and quiet. They have lockers in the common room and free laundry! Good location too.

Staff were super friendly and planned lots of activities. The common room and outside patio were lots of fun and made it easy to meet people. Location is pretty sweet, halfway between the plato and downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

This hostel is an adorable, communal place that epitomizes the traveling experience for young people. Would gladly stay here on a future visit to Montreal.

A really cool set up. MASSIVE common area which is pretty chilled out and easy to meet and chat with people. There were lockers for stuff that you want to lock away. The room we slept in was super quiet which is always a bonus in hostels. The kitchen area was kind of small, not many can cook at once! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was really good - not super close to the action but Montreal is spread out and the best way to see it is by walking around. Brilliant.

the best thing about this hostel was its atmosphere. the lobby area is very cozy and perfect for a coffee/tea and a book during hours you have nothing else to do. the people are all friendly and easy to talk to. here you'll find people who live in the moment and enjoy life

Can't get wifi in the room. Also the 8 people dorm is super cramp. Can't even find a place to put my luggage. The location of the hostel is only descent. It's quite far from the metro station also most of the attractions is within 30 minutes by walking.

Having only a pin code to get into the main door was a little sketchy, as was the fact that our room door (a private room) only locked from the outside. However the facilities were very nice, lots of outdoor space, the bathroom was decent, and the cooking areas were really great. So not a perfect review, but if you are looking for a nice, youth geared hostel that is very close to EVERYTHING, this is a great choice.

The location was perfect - right in the village. It was also conveniently located near the bus terminal to catch bus 747 to and fro the airport. In addition, the hostel was very homely and had a nice rustic feel to it. The social area was very happening and I made many friends there whom I hanged out with a night, during the day and whenever we could. Met many different people from around the world and this should be the place to go to if you want to meet more people.

The staff were great and able to speak french and ENGLISH. They were happy to give advice able things to do and see in Montreal, and also organised activities of an evening or weekend to involve people staying at the hostel. The activities were a great way to meet other travelers. Probably the highlight of my week in Montreal was a group trip to Tamtam drum circle and picnic in the park at Mont Royal organised by the staff. 1000's of people enjoying the sun in the park. Awesome!

Very friendly and knowledgeable team, great breakfast and spaceful place. A bit too loud for me, but I'm not in their main customer target :-)

I stayed in a single room in the adjoining apartment..., double bed...tv....shared bathroom..kitchen...what more could you ask for for the price! The facilities are a little dated but still its all you need. The staff were great...fun and very helpful with information. I would stay here again and recommend it to others for sure. Thanks guys!
