This was by far the most disgusting place I have ever slept in my entire life. The halls were dirty and graffitied. On my floor there was no toilet paper in all the ten bathrooms-completely empty. The showers had mold. My room was supposed to be a double but for some odd reason there was even a third bed in the room not made- just blocking everything, as if they were just storing it there. The room itself was filthy around the walls and floors. Truly a terrible experience.

There is no wi-fi in the rooms. The place is good, but it looks like an old reformatory and it is scarrying. We took a private room, but still didn't feel completely safe there, although we had no problem about it.

when i got there the sheets where dirty, there wrre already used and had not been changed, and the guy from the reception did not wanted to give us the clean ones.

We arrived at Hostel Jednota at 11pm due to a delayed train and were keen to check out our room! The receptionist didn't have our booking and tried to over charge us! After showing our email conformation all was amended. The building is huge, very fascinating! Please be aware wi-fi only works in the reception area. Simple rooms and clean showers. A budget hostel in a beautiful city!

There were cooking facilities but absolutely nothing else to use such as pots and pins. Staff were a bit rude. Rooms were about as basic as it could possibly get.

Always use private rooms. Much much cleaner than dorms. The location is awesome, hostel is old but for tourist visits to Prague you only need to sleep and for that it can do nicely.

I know the building is big and to get internet in the rooms you would have to spend a bit of money, but at least get the internet working in the lobby area. The wifi was not working and the two computers available were so slow... almost unworkable. Everything else was just average.

If you are looking for an affordable and convenient accommodation you should take a look at this hostel. It is basically an active dormitory with rooms to rent with all it's ups and downs. The rooms are modest but clean, you can feel safe (every person has to leave the room key at the reception and get it back with a special, individually issued card). Additionally, if you find partying people generally annoying, maybe you should consider a different choice.

Quite run-down, staff were very helpful, but sharing one bathroom area between a whole floor isn't the best, also doors seemed flimsy and could be broken into easily

It was really bad hostel.Don't stay there.
