Alface Hostel Lisboa Reviews

Hostel is located in the heart of Lisbon\'s nightlife and close to most of the city\'s attractions. It does get a little noisy in Weekends but that didnt bother me. Shared bathroom can be a problem when fully booked but with good scheduling that is managable.

Concerning the quality of breakfast (especially coffee and juice), there is still a lot to do...

The location of this hostel is great, right in the center of the young neighborhood of Lisbon. It was simple, but clean, and had everything you needed. The staff are very friendly and eager to help.

Walls and doors offer no protection against noise from the common area, very loud during evenings and nights

On average it's a good hostel, but has disadvantages.If you like to party in Lisbon, this hostel has the perfect location for you; otherwise you would find it a bit too noisy.The rooms are spacious and the staff which is super friendly and wants to do everything to make your stay the best. However, one person only speaks Portugese, which makes the exchange of information a bit difficult. It was clean, but only one bathroom for the girls and you couldn't lock the toilets.Missed some activities.

The alface hostel is the best hostel i've been at in all europe!! Loved everything!

Great location and great facilities. Next to a subway station and inside of good nightlife street. The wifi internet is with bad signal, but you can use the computer.

very great location and hostel, very clean and fun atmosphere

I DON'T recommend it to anyone. The main reason is that the 24 hour reception is only a joke. For that reason the breakfast was not ready when it was supposed to be at 8 o'clock- which means we didnt have the free breakfast, no one was there to ask, and on top of that we wanted to check out, and we had given 5 euros for the key which we couldn't take back!!! We rang the bells, called the No of the hostel in case the "24hour reception" appears but nothing!!!! Nobody was there!!!! Unacceptable!

The staff were plenty friendly, yet they worked mostly in the cafe downstairs, so it was difficult to get a hold of someone to fix the leak in our sink. Lots of character, probably the best location and the bathrooms were very clean. The bed was the best I slept on for my whole European tour. Definitely recommended!

Amazing!!Still can´t believe how I could find a place like that, good people, good place just in the middle of the city centre, nice and You´ll feel it like home, never feel lonely even when you are just one in a room of 10 people.
