Can't recommend highly enough! Staff are excellent, lively, full of local knowledge and extremely helpful. The evening activities were very memorable, especially fado for me. Common room & kitchen well equipped and spacious, free coffee and tea all day! Cheap sangria and beer! Lovely design details all throughout, cleaners very thorough. Excellent location. Can't praise this place enough really!

Very nice place. The Staff are so friendly and the beds are confortable. There is a nice Tejo view from the room and the tram stop is very close. The region is calm and beautiful. But you need to pay 1,50 Euros for a towel. It's expensive. I would come back for sure.

The Alfama Patio Hostel is more than a place to stay - itīs an EXPERIENCE! First Timers come to get a bed, then extend because they donīt want to miss out on the fun. From optional dinner nights to free films to special outings or just hanging out with the folks (young & old alike) you wonīt find a more hospitable place...and great Alfama location than this. What started as a few days at a hostel for my lisbon vacation soon began to feel like I was staying with friends that I had known for years. The friendly and helpful staff was exactly what you would expect to compliment the comfortable, clean accomodations and relaxing atmoshpere. Fun enough so that you are never bored, quiet enough so that you are never bothered. I highly recommend staying here if you happen to travel to lisbon.
