3 good nights in Lisboa, thanks to Nadia, Luis, Peso and the staff of the Alfama. A charmant hotel, very friendly and very well located. You just don't have to fear the noise of the old tramway but it is part of the pleasure to be here. Bonne continuation.

I love this place! The staff tried everything to make me feel at home and they did! They have this beautiful garden for you to relax and for dinner. Having Portugal dinner in candle light with people from all over the world is just wonderful. The location is excellent. It's in the old town area but very easy to find, just follow the tram line. On the way to city center, you can just enjoy the view everyday. I'll totally recommend this hostel to my friends! And I miss you guys already!

What a cool hostel! Great location in beautiful Alfama. Within easy walking distance of most key sights.Tram 28 stops outside the door. The hostel is clean and has a relaxed feel to it & the friendly staff make you feel right at home. (Thanks Nadia, Isabella & girls for the fun jazz in the park evening). The outside area (sundeck and garden with hammocks) is great for relaxing.I loved the breakfast pancakes! Big thanks Alfama Patio!

Best hostel I stayed in. Best! Beautiful bunk beds, great showers. CLEAN. Great staff! Ambiance was amazing, interesting people, fun common room. Every day there’s an event planned with the sister hostel of Rossio, so you’ll never get bored. Wonderful tour to Sintra with the amazing, knowledgeable Carlos. The hostel offers a home cooked meal for a ridiculous price of 8 euros! The chef, Marissa, cooks like an angel and gladly complied with dietary restrictions from numerous guests. If you're looking for a place to enjoy Lisbon, this is it. Located in the heart of historical Alfama, only minutes to listen to authentic Fado music or get to "Centro". Rooms are nice and clean, many bathrooms so you don't have to wait and breakfast is excellent. Also, for a few $ you can enjoy excellent and pleasant dinners with other guests and staff members. Directed by Nadia, the passion and kindness of all the staff members makes you feel home. Sintra tour with Carlos is very interesting.

I spent one week in the Alfama Patio Hostel in the heart of Lisbon and honestly I have to say it is the best hostel I´ve ever been to and I´ve stayed in probably one hundred. Thanks to Isabel, Helena, Rui and all the others. You are the best hostel staff in the world! Not to forget the awesome portuguese dinner served every day, the pub crawls or fado tours! This has to be one of the friendliest hostels we have ever stayed at. The staff were just wonderful and made you feel instantly that you were amongst friends. The evening meals were as good as any of the restaurants nearby and were a great way of meeting the other guests. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere/vibe was just what I was hoping for -- relaxed and with other travelers who were considerate of others. The evening dinners were great in quality and value. I would stay here again.

The best hostel I've ever stayed in- without a doubt! A very whimsical, fun atmosphere. The staff was super helpful and kind- they were always willing to give us suggestions on things to see in the city and the easiest way to get there. The rooms and showers were very nice- I just loved the decorations/style of the entire place! They always had an abundance of activities going on each day/evening and it was a great way to meet/interact with the other guests. What an amazing place!

This hostel is nice. The staff also. I also enjoyed so much the fresh pancakes at the breakfast ! Something wonderful is the Terrasse at the first floor, allowing to enjoy the sun from wake up untill 3pm. But a little thing has to be said : the hostel is not a recent building, so there is BAD insulation :-( ... when sb wakes up in the middle of the night it wakes up neighbours from other rooms ! Be aware of it if you want to enjoy a very quiet stay !

Best experience I have EVER had in a hostel in my life. Seriously, the staff was amazing, the facilities were nice, breakfast was DELICIOUS, dinner (which you bought) was incredible, the tours they offer are amazing. I loved every second of my time here! I especially loved Bobby and Helena on the staff!

It was one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Everything was perfect. The staff was relaxed, but really helpful. Very cosy atmosphere. Great showers and all small bits which make a hostel perfect. Furthermore the dinners are a good opportunity to get to know other people. I enjoyed it a lot to stay here. Thank you so much for everything!

The BEST hostel I have ever stayed in. I slept in one of the double, private rooms and had my own balcony that looked out over the beautiful city. The people were as friendly as can be and the staff was so accommodating. Carolina, Isabella and Dangolia were so helpful in everything that I needed. Bobby was so much fun on the pub crawl! I highly recommend that you stay here when in Lisbon. I will be returning, that's for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Alfama Patio Hostel! Its an unique place made and runed with so much character and love. Also the staff was great - they have been allways frindly and gave us a lot of tips for the city and we had some nice conversation at dinner. All in all I will recomend this little special place to everybody who is going to Lisboa!
