About Alfonso Hotel
The Hotel Alfonso is situated very centrally in St Julians.
It is only a five minute walk away from the hustle and bustle which is Paceville, with its night clubs, discos, bars, cinema, bowling etc.
It is only a ten minute walk from a sandy beach in St George's Bay. It a comfortable hotel and its charming reception area is as welcoming as is the T.V. lounge, which is tastefully furnished to produce a highly relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel is 'old-fashioned'; that is to say, it is not a big concrete block. It is an authentic, small, family-run hotel. The management and staff are always happy to satisfy guests' individual needs.
The Alfonso has 28 rooms, some of which command an impressive view of the picturesque Spinola Bay. All rooms have private facilities, a safe deposit box, fans in summer and heaters in winter. The fourth and fifth floors are fully air-conditioned (optional extra).
The hotel operates on bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis.
Its popular restaurant 'Alfonso's' caters for both the residents and an extensive local clientele who have come to associate it with good informal dining.
The restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, is renowned for its exquisite pasta dishes, pizzas and a good variety of a la carte dishes.
