Parking was a bit dodgy but at least there was some...

The bathrooms and rooms were clean,but the kitchen wasn't. You had to be lucky to become a plate or cutlery or even a pot.

The carpet in the room was not thoroughly vacuumed. The bathroom was also dirty with a lot of mildew, and the sink faucet and other parts were in disrepair. The location and reception staff were very good.

Hostel provides bare minimum and smells like disinfectant. Definitely wouldn't spend more time here than absolutely necessary.

The carpet on the floor was filthy, and there was mold on the wall and ceiling. The toilet was not clean and the air in the room was stagnant because of the poor ventilation. The floor carpet should be changed into either ciramic tiles or vinyl tiles. To make sure all the guests have a pleasant stay, the rules should be better enforced such as guests cleaning up after themselves immediately after using kitchen utensils. Overall, the stay at Alfred Park Accomodation was poor.

I stayed only one night in the hostel , but it was really good. the staff is really friendly and helpful. It was really clean and a nice atmosphere. It is really good so stay at the hostel.

dirty, quite far from the center (10-15 minutes walking to the main station), they close the kitchen in the night, very few bathrooms...

Nice place, not too far from the city. The house seems to be a bit old, but it's clean and staff and guests are nice. Especially the bathrooms are in a good condition. Friendly atmosphere. I'd definetly come back! :)

The website says, this hostel is totally renewed but we ended up in a dirty ''not renewed at all'' ensuite dorm.. No Lockers, and way to small to have 4 people's stuff.. The staff was friendly but do not recommend this hostel.

I have been travelling for 6 months and so far this is the poorest hostel i have stayed in, the room i initially stayed in was so small there was no room to put your bags without them being in the way. The kitchen was soooo small, it was always a hassle to cook if there were a few people in there. Most of the pots and pans didn't have handles on them, same goes for a few of the cups. I stayed there over Christmas and New Year and there was no atmosphere there, even on Christmas Day...

I liked a lot your hostel, in particular the commun spaces, and the staff was very friendly. The localisation also was good, central but quiet, in front of a park. We came back after our trip in south Australia because we thought that it would be difficult to find better and I will recommend this adress to my friends.

Really enjoyed my time at this hostel.

Generally ok with everything, the room I stayed in (triple) was a quite small though. Air conditioner was a plus.

Other Hostels offer you a cup of tea (mug teabag/coffee) in your room. This would be a nice additive. Also towels given to you on arrival rather than having to search the cupboard after hours as there aren't any in the room.

Good quality, friendly helpful service, pleasant environment

This place is in quite a central location. It's not the cleanest, however. The kitchen leaves something to be desired. The room I was staying in was not very clean.

excellent hostal, very clean, friendly staff, free towels and 2 hours of free internet! Extremely recomendable!

Having TV's in the rooms is a good idea in theory, but terrible in practice. If you're wanting to actually sleep dont stay here. I was kept up most nights by having to listen to my room mates watch TV.
