No automatic lock on doors, less safe if someone forgets to lock the door. Shower's hot water pressure very low. But bed was ok, breakfast ok. Just not my best experience so far

Dirty and run down place, seriously one of the dingiest hostels I've lived in.

Nice hostel about 20 minutes walk from the centre of antwerp. 24 hour access was good. Breakfast was available free of charge consisting of cereal. The communal area downstairs was a bit small but we didn't spend too much time there. Not overly cheap but it was good value and overall an enjoyable stay.

It's an old, shady building. It's very basic. I am giving it a low rate as there has been only invested in the very necesarry and basic things, like a bed, a sink and curtains. Toilets, walls, showers, carpetting and everything is old and there's even a bad smell in the hall ways too. If you just want to sleep and explore Antwerp, it's fine. Don't expect more. Bram

Pros: Clean, quiet neighbourhood, close enough to get to the main train station by foot, big lockers and free maps! Cons: stairs are very narrow, no elevator, breakfast is light

Alias is good if you're looking for something quiet and calm, but if you're looking for atmosphere and want to meet people, go elsewhere.
