Nice hostel about 20 minutes walk from the centre of antwerp. 24 hour access was good. Breakfast was available free of charge consisting of cereal. The communal area downstairs was a bit small but we didn't spend too much time there. Not overly cheap but it was good value and overall an enjoyable stay.

It's an old, shady building. It's very basic. I am giving it a low rate as there has been only invested in the very necesarry and basic things, like a bed, a sink and curtains. Toilets, walls, showers, carpetting and everything is old and there's even a bad smell in the hall ways too. If you just want to sleep and explore Antwerp, it's fine. Don't expect more. Bram

Pros: Clean, quiet neighbourhood, close enough to get to the main train station by foot, big lockers and free maps! Cons: stairs are very narrow, no elevator, breakfast is light

Alias is good if you're looking for something quiet and calm, but if you're looking for atmosphere and want to meet people, go elsewhere.

The worst hostel I have stayed up to now in the world. I don't recommend to anybody!

Nothing wrong with Alias Youth Hostel. If you want to just spend the night in comfort for doing whatever you want to do in Antwerp, Alias is a good choice for a fair price. And there is a breakfast included.

no lockers even though they advertise having them, close to train station but not close to much else, showers had mold, small common area compaired to number of quests, no staff on after 8pm, only 2 single bathrooms per floor to serve many quests

Staff is friendly and helpfull, good recomendations. Breakfast is free and not bad. Supermkt nearby. A bit far from the very center (by foot) but nice hostal in general!

It's just a place to sleep - not more, not less. The rooms are very tiny, it was dirty on the floors. No real place to hangout and meet others. Price was ok.

Location is so-so as it's not in city centre, although only 15, 20 minutes walk away. Area might seem dodgy at night. Otherwise, very friendly hostel, great staff, clean amenities, great breakfast spread.
