I paid €46/ $60 for a Double bed 1 Bdrm "ensuite". Iincredibly unattractive crowded bunk rooms in a dorm only with pseudo double beds jammed in with bunks. The girl responded with "why do you not like the extra beds?". Only the first floor room provided the advertised "free wifi". This place has all the ambiance of a disordered warehouse. The room was unusually cold. No hot water. Could not take a shower. I had to request a heater. Worst hostel ever in 20 years for me.

Good parts: relatively clean, not too small room given the location in the old town. Bad parts: the cheapest interior/furniture possible, bathroom not working well, ancient mattress, lousy bed. Overall: there are much worse hostels out there, but given that this is 50 euro plus taxes per night in offseason, I would rate the value for money as very bad.

When we stayed the hostel was very quiet as it was off season. room was adequate with a fridge. However there was no kitchen for food prep, although we were told by the excellent staff running the hostel that the hostel would be providing a kitchen this year. Excellent location just off May 1st Square which was the Mediaeval centre of Piran. Overall a very good hostel.
