I really enjoyed my short night in Alibi. The young lady receptionist was wonderfully friendly. Thanks!

Alibi hostels in Slovenia are pretty expensive compared to staying in the lovely private rooms and on tourist farms, which you can do pretty much everywhere apart from the capital. The rooms were hit and miss; we stayed in a 'double room' which was 2 single beds, in a cell like room, and when I said we'd booked a double I was told to just push them together. In Piran the hostels say they have internet and a roof terrace, and this is simply not true, so don't expect good things if you stay there!

My friend and I only stayed one night at this hostel so I cant comment on someone that has maybe spent several days and really gotten a 'feel' for the place. Too bad we had our usual luggage to our normal backpacks- almost 4flights up-but can deal. -The girl at the desk was friendly but didnt seem able t answer some of our questions and really just seemed to be there for a summer job. Didnt automatically offer up day trips/activities-We were lucky to have priv.bath, could have been cleaner

We waited outside of the hostel for half a hour as there was no one in the reception! It was 12:00 at noon with heavily raining!! Others are fair. And the location is great!

Amazing location in the centre ot Ljubljana. We had the private double and it was huge room with a very nice bathroom. Would definitely stay there again if I went back to Slovenia!

Really good location! Really close to the action... quite clean, nice staff. But only one toilet/shower for the 10-bed-dorm.

L\'auberge est bien placée pour visiter la ville. La chambre était simple et plutôt propre mais un gros problème d\'humidité dans la salle de bain fait que tout le plafond et le haut des murs était moisi, pas très agréable!

Perfect location in town and helpful staff. In April, it was quiet, so you could use almost all times the two computer for internet and the kitchen facilities.

Great location half way between the city and the train station. Room was a bit cramped with the lockers taking up most of the space. Shower was blocked so the floor was constantly wet and dirty. Washing of clothes was far too expensive at €10. Free computers and kitchen was great though

Great hostel in an old building with character. The location couldn't be better! We were very comfortable staying here.

The bathroom had serious problems with humidity and the ventilation fan had to be left on all the time, which was a bit noisy. The first day we had some problems with the shower, which got clogged very quickly, but this didn't happen the following day. On the first night it was a bit noisy around the kitchen area with people chatting until midnight approx, but I guess this is only normal in a hostel. But all in all, very good value for money, especially considering the location.

The guy at the front desk had no clue .....I'm not one to complain but he charged me the full price and didn't realize that I had paid online for part of my stay before hand. And by the time I realized it was too late and I left on the train before the next staff member had started.

Great and very kind staff, but the boss was at the opposite, failures in system of booking to be fixed. Cleanliness of wc to be improved. soaps not refilled water in the showers not flowing down the pipes. And of course helped in all the practical facilities needed to live the citiy (calling taxi, find places, information ecc)

*from 2 backpacking girls: Very nice hostel with a friendly staff at reception. Great location in the heart of ljubljana and not far from the train station. My only complaint would be the massive locker system in the middle of the large dorm room. It made moving about nearly impossible in there. Aside from that, here's a hint to others *there's a 24-hour kebap place under a green sign on the same road toward the train station that has the BEST kebaps in the world for cheap. Get them! Yum!*
