It was a bit weird that we booked the hostel in Ximen but the staff guided us to another place. My Taiwanese friend thought the house was too old and creepy and he objected. Then the staff took us to a very nice place, well furniture and so on. Need to add price but still very satisfactory stay in Taipei.

They actually don't have any hostel itself. I know it's really hard to find a hotel during this peak season, but they led us to some kind of MOTEL instead of hostel. I think Alice hostels is a broaker rather than a hostel. The actual price of that MOTEL was really cheap, but they got us more than two times of the money, and got the some kind of commission from us. If u have anoter choice, probably u have, reserve another one, or I bet you will regret your choice.

they dont have the professional. thier's office is them bedroom. They r look like agent find the room to customer. they get the room in motel to us. we dislike and detestation them all.

ABSOLUTE FRAUD. The address is not a hostel's address but an office's address. When we got there they wanted us to come back after 5 pm. So we did, but they took us over a MOTEL which was different from the photo on website. They said we need to use 2 rooms (although we reserved 1 room for 4 people) so we argued, then they brought us to another hostel but it can be used for a day (next day we needed to move to another place). We had no choice but to stay in a motel which was extremely poor.

Well, it is very good experience with this hostel, (so call yr hostel). In fact, it is an old apartment room with no windows , no heatings and no proper facilities. Luckily, on the last night, you arrange to a proper hotel but far away from Ximan. Anyway, we are going to put this experience on the facebook and warned our fellow Singaporeans when their visit your website. Regards Francis Kong

We booked a deluxe double bed private ensuite and deluxe 4 bed family room ensuite from 25th to 27th dec in one booking. Our family was split into two different buildings. On the second night, we received a call after midnight that we need to change room for the double bed the next morning causing disruption in the midst of our sleep. The bathroom door was faulty. The basins were dirty with foul smells. There was no proper receipt to acknowledge TWD19k+ cash paid, only handwritten. No service.
