I really enjoyed my stay at Alice Lodge, stayed there for 1 night before doing the Uluru (Ayres Rock) tour and 2 nights after. The place was very clean and had good facilities (TV room with loads of videos and free use of 2 computers, a well stocked kitchen - with free breakfast and good shower facilities), the staff were very friendly and helpful and more than willing to play a few games of beer pong (good fun), it's also very chilled out. I would certainly recommend this hostel.

We showed up and the hostel was overbooked, so we were given an upgrade to the Alice Motel; I greatly appreciate your hospitality and, if I make it back to Alice Springs, will stay at your facility again; thank you for supporting backpackers worldwide.

It's too bad the hostel is located out of the city centre especially in alice springs. But for a few nights in between tours it's good

Recommended. Alice Springs is more of a pass-through town which makes it hard for hostels to develop a lot of atmosphere. However, I enjoyed my stay and record temperatures made the pool all the more valuable. Note that Reception is NOT open 24/7, so check if its open when you arrive. No curfew though.

Correct hostel with a good kitchen and clean rooms. Staff could be a little bit more friendly.

Nice size hostel about a 10 minute walk to the town. Nice pool & outside area. Laundry available $3. Good TV room with free use of PCs and Internet. Free WI-FI. Free cereal & toast 4-9am good for when going on tour. Free storage of luggage when on tour and free day storage. Dorm was a little dingy and didn't smell too pleasant but free use of lockers and fridge in room. Reception hours 8.30am-2pm & 4.30-7pm. Rooms and kitchen could have been cleaner and staff more friendly but would recommend.
