Nice place with a good atmosphere. Loved the murals on the walls! Good tv room with comfy chairs and bean bags. Kitchen is average, kettle didn't really work. Nicest bed I've ever slept in!! Lovely South African guy who owns it. Would come again!!

They've got everything you need. Key, kind and gentle reception, hot water, food, fridge, laundry machine, enough wall sockets, quiet, no bug, clean, ~whatever The best backpackers i've ever seen!

It's a funky place, a little outside of town which means that it is quiet and safe.

Nice and clean. Good facilities and location. Only real downside are the costs for WIFI (5 AUD per hour).

very nice place, the owner is very helpful (he even said, there's a washer and dryer, but don't pay for the dryer, just hang your stuff outside and it's gonna be dry in 10 minutes) good kitchen, free tea and coffee, kitchen, tv room etc. and all the bedrooms are air-conditioned. nice little pool at the back. yeah I like this place Okay on the downside the internet doesn't really work, we bought a voucher but couldn't log in

The staff - a male - was very helpful and eager to please. The reception hours poor The back yard neglected Having to undo the chain lock in the darkness at night is not convenient The location - beyond the river bridge - not convenient for spending late evening in the center The bathroom needs to be cleaned better an refurbished. The place has a great potential to be an Oasis but now is neglected.

The hostel was okay, and there was aircondition. When we arrived at the hostel, the room we booked was not available because the owner misread the booking. We then waited while the problem was sorted out and got a new room. When we left early in the morning, the gate was locked with a combination-lock, but the owner had forgotten to tell us the combination, so we had to wake another guest to get out and on our tour. All in all a decent hostel, but which is run rather poorly.
