Loved staying here. I had two nights booked, one before my 4-day trip and one after. Wayne was aware of my return, and made sure I had an easy time with the room keys and other stuff. I wish to thank him for absolutely flawless service, and also for his friendly demeanour and approachability.
I'd love to stay at Alices Secret again.Loved staying here. I had two nights booked, one before my 4-day trip and one after. Unfortunately the advertised info didn't match reality and we spent only an hour there. The rooms are tiny and airlesss. The airconditioner is 4 rooms away - going through a small hole in the wall of each subsequent room - the last room getting only stale air. When we expressed our concerns Suzanne became angry and ordered us off the property demanding 2 days rent! Another girl arriving soon after us expressed the same concerns and we wondered how the hostel manages to get its rating. Large kitchen, laundry facilities, and close walk into town. If staying as a couple, highly recommend the double private as opposed to twin private. Difference being a big room with double bed, a fridge and a sink in the room vs. a bunkbed in a very small room in a trailer with no fridge or sink.Large kitchen, laundry facilities, and close walk into town. Spent one night before and one night after our 3-day tour of King's Canyon, Kata Tjuta, and Uluru. Great that we were able to leave luggage in locker while away on our tour. First night was in a twin room which was very small and literally a section of a trailer. Second night was in a double room which was much better for a fraction of a higher cost. Close to town. Overall experience was okay.Spent one night before and one night after our 3-day tour of King's Canyon, Kata Tjuta, and Uluru.
