I recommend this hostel to everyone. It has everything in inside. If you go to budapest you should stay there.

I particularly valued the cleanness in the hostel, its friendly staff and the central location - very close to metro and tram stops.

Very old beds. Very uncomfortables. Kitchens old and quite a lot of dirty... But, generally, very uncomfortable, very noisy mattress and beds... sorry... not recommended

Hostel itself was a little lacking in atmosphere - no communal areas really. Right next to a ridiculously cheap bar with friendly staff though. Near the center as well

A printer wired up to the computer was needed by me and independently by other guests. It would have saved me much effort and expense elsewhere, even worth paying more for the room for this.

I stayed for 3 nights in winter. Because the hostel is very cheap, I wasn't expecting much. But I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean, there were lockers, central heating and hot showers. The location was great - you turned the corner and you had Vaci St., an underground station nearby and you were within walking distance from the popular places. Bad things? The kitchens don't have a lot of things and the mattresses are a bit thin. For me it wasn't big problem though.

Since i was there out of season, i think that my experience is different than the one in summertime. But its an okay hostel - you get what you pay. Maybe even a little more. The staff was very helpful, and the walking tours where perfect!

the most disgusting receptionist we could find in over a year travelling (and is the first time we leave a bad review about a person, but this was beyond our tolerance). he refused to give us his name (is bold and with glasses, avoid him, just like the israeli guy i met in the door. wating in the cold with his backpack for the shift to change) and the complain book. we had problems when we arrived and each time he was there. deshonest person who does not deserve a job

Good security with double doors that you have to ask staff to open them from their counter However, I found staff was always busy and simply open the door for you without taking much look. (I guess they want to at least prevent drunk guys) The hallway between floors are too dark. There are light switches, but the lights were kept off. Very clean!

This place is located in a real good site, near to the Vaci street and the most famous bridge in Budapest. The beds and the bathrooms are good. I should recomend this place for my friends.
